Slightly V shaped, excellent value for money
Having listened to a fair number of IEMs, both mainstream and Chi-Fi, these are definitely one of my favourites. For the money, I highly doubt you'd find anything significantly (if at all) better. To be clear though, these aren't at all like a lot of other KZ models which seem to have a very pronounced V shape, with rumbly bass and bright, occasionally piercing treble. I'd describe them as being slightly V shaped. They're not comparable to balanced high end IEMs which have much more forward mids, but at the same time they're a lot cleaner and more balanced than most cheap high street IEMs, and indeed most other KZs. Many I imagine would be disappointed by the punchy but very 'unboomy' bass. If you find some brighter IEMs a bit tinny Id probably avoid these. They're a good fit for those that are looking for balanced IEMs with a bit of fun factor. The slight V gives a needed kick to eg metal but without killing vocals on pop etc. It's a good compromise.Comfort and isolation are decent, if not amazing. They're not too big so they fit nicely in my ears without feeling like they're falling out.If I had to criticise, they feel a bit cheap compared to the more premium models KZ have been pumping out. The cable is a bit naff and I'm not a fan of the text. Not much to moan about for 24 quid.

Good sound, even though a bit inconsistent
Nice natural sound with deep bass and clear highs.Bass is deep, not too punchy, and not too strong. There aren't any mid-bass issues as far as I can tellThe mids are almost natural, although may be slightly lacking for electric guitars. However any additional EQ correction in the mids would probably be detrimental for long listening sessions. Its a trade-off; the mids are as close to natural as possible without being fatiguing. The highs can vary depending on the sound source - I get anywhere between thin sounding on one of my android phone to slightly warm and subdued with my laptop soundcard. The XtremPro X1 USB soundcard stick can drive them rather well. They're very detailedSoundstage and imaging are excellent, as expected from hybrid earphones with balanced armature drivers in the nozzlesThey can be extremely revealing of any flaws in a recording, especially distortion. They come with a poor rubber cable and the usual KZ tips. Switching to Sony hybrid tips makes the highs somewhat smoother, and getting the braided KZ upgrade cable is a good idea.

Better than my previous Sanhisers
I listen to Deezer HiFi music on my LG G7, which has 4 DACs (converts digital signal to analog), and the sound quality, for the price, is amazing.Only been using for 2 weeks now, so can't vouch for quality yet, but these are amazing value for the money

Good but there are better KZ sets
Listen, i can see why these get decent reviews, but i feel there is better for cheaper. They are super comfy and look good. They are V shaped and have good detail, they don't do much wrong tbf. What i didn't like is they're a bit boring! Bit cold sounding and lack warmth. The KZ ZSN, KZ ZS5, KZ ED9, KZ ATE/ATR are all more exciting. All same price or much cheaper. The TRN V20 and ARTISTE DC1 both better too.
