Nice enough bench. Seems like fairly good quality and it was very easy to assemble. But the max height is listed as 23.6" and it really only goes to 21.25". This is more than a 2" difference, which is a *big* difference when it comes to piano benches. Completely useless to me and I have to return it. What a pain. I hope they correct this so others don't get misled. Update: the folks at the Vangoa store reached out to me, and said that the legs do extend further. In my case, only one of the legs did so, and extending the leg this far means that the bolt does not go through one of the holes but rather the edge of the seat post would sit directly on top of the bolt. Since this seemed like a bad idea to me, and since only one of the legs on my bench did this, I just assumed that neither leg was supposed to extend this far. But it turns out that the opposite is true, and I just happened to get a defective bench. So 5-stars for customer service, and if you're okay with the tallest setting having the bolts not going through a hole, then you "should" be able to extend this to the stated height, assuming that the defect mine had is not common.

I have bought 2 of these adjustable benches in 2025. One for a piano and one for my sewing machine table area. So far, the seams have not shown stress. We did receive one bench that my husband said the leg was assembled backwards so we did have to go through the process of returning it and that's always a pain to do. Replacement was promptly received.
