Q: Are these almonds treated with Roundup or any other pesticides?

The Roundup company had 155,000 wrongful death lawsuits because they said Roundup was "completely safe". But people started dying by the hundreds of thousands, and the deaths were traced to roundup. Roundup was found in the bodies of the deceased. They spent millions to hush the news. Last summer they announced they were paying a $10 Billion Settlement to the surviving families and those disabled by Roundup. A few reviews mentioned they had worms in the bag so seems like no roundup was used. But those reviews are from 2019 and recently no complaints about bugs. Blue Diamond seems honest and they say no pesticides are used. I believe them.

Q: Are these fumigated w/ppo? thx

I just contacted Blue Diamond to see what they had to say regarding PPO. Spoke at length with a very knowledgeable CS woman. According to her, the Lightly Salted almonds are no longer treated with PPO. Late last year (2018) BD stopped using it. She stated they have changed the process to pasteurizing with steam for this product which is the other acceptable way to treat for bacteria as required by CA law.

Yes. The soy sauce contains sugar.
