Effective, Comfortable Swing Trainer
The golf swing trainer was purchased in ordered to get a better feel of my weight transfer during the golf swing.Basically, I sometimes tend to stay back on my trailing leg during the golf swing. This is true during those times when I feel like I need to put a little more power and swing speed into the golf shot. With this swing trainer, the "rock back and forth" helps me feel the weight transfer. I've used this swing trainer for almost 2 months, and can feel a definite difference. I am also more consistent in my weight transfer. The only thing that bothered me was,....when swinging any golf club, my feet feel unnaturally higher than the ball. All things considered, this is a good swing trainer, and I would order it again.

Great to build weight shift habit!
Well made especially with the foot wedge. Gives you great feel for weight shift . A little expensive but should last forever. I’ve used it quite a few times to help me build a good weight shift habit. You still need to turn your hips and rendition go through the swing

Twisty
The plate ritao quite a bit. It rotates to the left for a right hand golfer and vice versa for a lefty- when swinging- so we constantly have to return it to it’s original position

Former Baseball Player Turned Golf Hack
So this thing popped up on my Facebook feed everyday for about three months. I'm a former baseball player, been playing golf for about 10 years and about a 12 handicap. I'm left handed and learned to play the ball on a fade right to left with the occasional slice thrown in. However, as of late my ball striking has been the worst its been since I started golfing. I was paired with a scratch golfer recently and he noticed I was hitting with my weight on my back leg, coming over the top and slapping at the ball. So when he told me that I remembered this thing always showing up on my Facebook feed and I said what the heck and ordered it.I used it in my yard hitting in to my net and within a few hits I could tell something was different. I hit about 10 balls on it and noticed my weight shifting forward and my hands staying still and contact with the ball was much improved. I continued to hit about 100 balls that evening both on and off it noticing I was hitting the ball to the left part of the net. I'm thinking those are either shanks or I'm on to something. I hit a few balls off it at the range that went straighter, but hitting off the ground after using it is when I couldn't believe what I was seeing. With my swing path from the inside, and hands less active I can now hit the ball more crisp, straighter and even a few draws in there. Something about plate taught me to have some lag in my swing moving my weight forward first and hands after creating great swing tempo. Even more it has improved my pitching and chipping and that is allowing me to shoot lower scores. I have no affiliation with this company and have never been into gadgets, but this worked for me and wish I had purchased it years ago.

A little overpriced but does the job
For the price paid there doesn't seem to be many cheaper options but I figure it's due to marketing, administrative overhead, cost of materials, worker salaries etc. It does the job but i wish the item had a tiny bit more tilt back and forth. My swing power and ball strike distance has improved but it does take a lot of effort and continued practice with this board. I used to hit 190-210 with my driver. Afer consistently swinging with the board I'm driving 240-250.

Good principle, but poor application ended up with hurt muscles
While I did learn something about shifting the weight, it was neither practical nor useful. Firstly if you're at the driving range, you are on those golf matts and the board can move diagonally as well as left and right. Then, there has to be a compensation as you are standing a couple of inches higher on a platform so you are leaning over to compensate the height difference. Lastly, because of the 'extreme shift" in weight from one side to the other, I ended up with sore muscles on my left hip and the weight goes down on the left knee. It does make your weight shift as you're shifting on a dime, but other than the first time you strike a ball, the rest is redundant. Im sending mine back, and recovering resting hurt muscles and tendons.

This REALLY WORKS
I have been using this for about 10 days now and played yesterday and it really transferred me into a better swing and more quality shots. I have a bonus room above my garage with high ceilings and have a net and mat to practice with rubber balls...I take 3 - 4 swings with the plate, and then 3 -4 shots without it.. I practice with a couple of irons, hybrid and 3 wood off the deck. There are cheaper products out there, like the board I first bought a returned...it was too wobbly with just a board in the center to elevate it for the weight shift...This is moldered and tapered and has no balance issues. I am so happy with it, I bought the power wedge.
