Really easy to assemble and use , set up quick and straight forward .
I have another laser engraver by another brand but not as easy to use straight out of the box. The laser engraver came well packaged and the build quality and finish the best I have seen. The assembly and set up instructions clear and easy to follow even for a non techie like me. Image transfer by phone, tablet or PC so easy to resize and alter intensity with amazing effect. The more I use the more i love the laser pecker 2 , the rotary attachment is precise and really easy to use. Would like to see a bigger print area, but if engraving on a flat surface you can use the rotary attachment to print as per the product promotion video. The biggest plus for me is the size and portability of the laser pecker 2 , packs down easy , but small enough to leave assembled without getting in the way. Materials that it will cut/engrave wood, paper, leather, rubber , plastic easily, engraves painted surfaces easily but struggles with stainless steel. The price is good value for money, especially for the build quality of this item, laser pecker customer service team easy to contact and helpful Would recommend to others, a very happy customer.

A very brilliant and versatile device. Easy to use.
I have tried a few gadgets in my time. Very few work as well as this one straight out the box. In other words it is super easy to use. There is a learning curve to get the best out of it for sure, but this is mostly to do with the materials upon which we are engraving. I have not had it long but have already engraved on a variety of items and materials, even metal. It works very well indeed! The video tutorials linked to the app help enormously for all bit that are a little unclear. All in all I wholeheartedly recommend this device! Buy it now!

I'm beaming
I've had my LaserPecker 2 for just over a week and in that time I've experimented with a range of different materials including paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, ceramic, and stone. I've been extremely impressed by the power, speed and accuracy of the device. Just a few years ago, a laser of this kind at this size and price point would have been inconceivable. I am pretty new to this field and I was happier buying a machine like this rather than a similarly priced kit that I'd need to put together and configure. Its sleek design is a huge step up from its predecessor. When it's not in use, it is also compact enough, together with its accessories, to always have a place on my work bench. The app is very easy to use, though its in-app creation features are quite limited; this doesn't bother me because I create most of my artwork using Photoshop. As other people have mentioned, the number of warning popups and confirmation requests can seem excessive, but it has the potential to be an extremely dangerous machine so it's better to have too many warnings than not enough. I have used the rolling base to engrave a toilet roll tube (for practice) and a glass tumbler. Using it wasn't as complicated as I had expected and I'm currently on the hunt for more cylindrical things to burn! Depending on your material, it can generate a fair amount of smoke so make sure that your work area is well ventilated. Wood, in particular, smokes heavily. Be particularly careful when dealing with anything that could produce toxic fumes such as plastics. Bear in mind, also, that the base is quite easily marked by the laser if you aren't careful. To avoid this I've been using a cheap metal loaf tin which protects the base, provides a visual shield from the contact point (which, however tempting it might be, you should avoid looking at even with the goggles), and it would also safely contain things if the item I was lasering were to catch fire. Overall, even though I was apprehensive to spend this kind of money on something I had limited experience and knowledge of, I am really pleased with it. I will return to update my review if I have any more news.

this has the stupidest setup ever.
i also have the snapmaker 2 but needed a separate laser engraver for the woodshop, i mastered the snap maker in about 5 minutes. this device sucks. it takes ages to get a verification code so you can use it, the verification code is sent to your email address, except china is under an embargo, i ended up setting up a pseudo email address, not Gmail and not outlook. just to get a verification code that could have been put on the laser, farming email addresses is all well and good but this is just stupid and illogical. i,m sending it back and going elsewhere. if i cant figure it out by monday. ok we can update the review. i set up a one time email account just for this company, managed to get a 4 pin verification code, and then today finally managed to get it working. first off it still gets only two stars because of the setup requirments, and the really cheap camera tripod. that went in the bin after the first test, and i cut and copied their other stand out of hardwood. it looks nice purple heart and walnut with a shellac finish, its Z SHAPED and i have some old lead weight as a stabilizer on the bottom of the Z. AT EXACTLY 200MM it can be clamped to any surface I'll put plans on youtube soon. you will have to chop off the camera screw if you don't have a spare! now to the laser, it works well with jpegs no problems on wood my primary medium. the contrast is good enough to copy logo and personalize my stuff for people. a 10cm x 10cm image takes about 30 minutes. you should work in a well-ventelated area and have a mini fan to blow the smoke in the right direction. i,ll get a usb fan to use. or disassemble a computer fan i think. mounting it on my zstand for simplicity. the wooden ruler is ok just cheap like the stand, i gave it to my boy. overall advantages. no programming skills needed. i am using it on a galaxy tab s i can edit a picture and grayscale it before sending it to the laser in less time than it takes me to describe the process. you can leave it to get on with the job. you can adjust the gama and contrast on the fly. disadvantages. The initial setup is just the stupidest thing i have seen, PUT THE FOUR FIG VERIFICATION ON THE DEVICE. you need to set up a pseudo email address, gmail, yahoo, and outlook allow this for possible spam or fraudulent companies. need to build your own stand. ( i found it cool to do ) no fan to blow away the smoke and if you dont it can interfere with the laser. so it is no Snapmaker 2. but for just general quick laser print jobs its now on my table next to the snapmaker table. who needs this? Woodworkers that want a cheap option to personalize items, hobbyists to print on SOME material. arts and craftys because burning in a graffic is so much more fun. and there you have it. as fair as i can make it.

The LaserPecker 2 is an outstanding laser engraver for all skill levels. Its versatility and build quality are incredible for the price, and you can tell a lot of effort went into designing it for the best user experience. It’s impressively fast, making DIY projects a breeze, and the portable battery adds a unique touch that makes it even more convenient to use anywhere.

For the money, this thing is incredible. It's an incredibly well made device and for someone who has never used a laser engraver before, I found it very intuitive and easy to use. I've used it for Wood, Glass and Metal all with successful results. The fact that it can also be used handheld with a power bank is incredibly handy for when we have engraved on large or awkward to access surfaces.
