I just got my new little "zap zap" today and I must say I am impressed! Before ordering, I made sure to read the reviews so I could choose a reliable and well made unit. The directions say change the unit 4hrs before first use. It took only 1 1/2hrs to fully charged! The blue LED battery indicator lights are extremely bright! I bet I could stop an attacker just by switching it on and let the blue lights take care of business without having to zap! The flashlight is nice and bright as well. The on/off switch on the side is very stable and won't switch on by accident. The sound of the unit is loud enough to get someone's attention and make them think twice. It's a solid, well made unit. Not thin or cheap feeling. The unit and it's features are easy to use! The best part about owning this unit is the company offers a FREE and FOR LIFE replacement for the unit in the event you ever have to use it! All you have to do is sign up and register the unit and submit an official incident report in the event you end up zaping a "bad guy!" Great unit!
