The self tapping screws are hard enough to go through mild steel tubing easily. Works best using low speed and torque setting and higher pressure. Magnetic driver bit is a plus.

I used these to secure gutter guards. The screws cut well into the aluminum (no surprise) as well as the much more difficult copper gutter edges. Slow drill speed is fast cutting. These would be difficult to use with a screwdriver. There were zero defects in the pack of 100 screws. Overall, these were a great price and a quality product. I recommend.
