So much better than cinema, shops, and especially microwave
Best popcorn on earth and fun to see how the different colours pop up. We pop our corn the old-fashioned way on the stove top for real taste. This is the best popping corn I've ever found.

Love this popcorn. All the different kinds pop up nicely and taste great. This is the second time I have ordered it and will definitely get it again.

10 varieties of gourmet pop corn. Have lots of fun trying the different varieties and discussing the results like taste, aroma and textures like trying a new wine. The quality is excellent and the 4oz bags are generous for movie night. We had so much fun, we ordered the 10, 1 lb bag "sampler" as we needed to try them again! We are still getting through that but go for this 4 oz sampler first. You might find your perfect match right off. You won't "dislike" any of the varieties and they are so much better than the light fluffy bland brand. . Have fun.

Yes this is spendy but this popping corn really can't be beat. It is so worth the money. Once you've had it you won't want to buy any other kernels. Great variety pack as well to try it!

Lovely gift set! Exactly what i was looking for for Christmas. Each variety of popcorn has a fun write-up and the package was heavier than expected, which was a lovely suprise.

So here's everything you need to know about this popcorn. They send you 10 different sampler baggies which make about 3 medium sized bowls of popcorn each. It's non-GMO (as are all popcorn kernels from what I've researched). The packaging and the ad don't say anything about being certified as organic, but from what I can tell, it doesn't seem like they use pesticides on their corn. I bought one of those ~$7 silicone popcorn makers on Amazon that goes in the microwave to test this popcorn, and it worked perfectly (no oil or anything else required). I did not use any popcorn toppings in my testing to give as accurate of a description as possible. The following is how each popcorn stacked up, from best to worst: 1. Purple: medium diameter, soft and tender, but just slightly more crunchier than the white, a small amount of hull but not bad, the popcorn flavor really comes through, and definitely had the best flavor out of all of them, per the packaging supposedly it's higher in antioxidants 2. (A very close second) Baby White: small diameter, soft and tender, little to no hull, neutral flavor 3. Medium White: same as baby white but medium diameter 4. Ladyfinger: extra small diameter, soft and tender, little to no hull, neutral flavor 5. Red: same as purple, but with less popcorn flavor 6. Medium Yellow: medium diameter, slightly less soft and slightly more crunchy than the others, more hull noted, slightly more popcorn flavor than the white 7. Mushroom: large diameter, pops in a ball, crunchy, but kinda chewy, some hull noted, mild popcorn flavor with a hint of "corn nuts" flavor 8. Caramel type: large diameter, crunchy but kinda hard, "caramel type" (ie the type of popcorn they use for caramel popcorn, so not caramel flavored), some hull noted, not the best flavor (prolly why they put caramel on it) 9. Blue: medium diameter, crunchy, but not really soft, flavor not the greatest (kind of off putting), some hull but not bad 10. Rainbow: just a mix of all of them (put last because every bite was a roll of the dice) If you want the best flavor, go with the purple (I just bought a large bag of this one, and find it doesn't need any salt or butter or anything else to make it taste good). If you want the best texture, go with the baby white (I would recommend at least a little popcorn salt with this one though). Or buy the sampler and have fun trying all the different kinds to find which one you like best. I used to buy the bags of microwave popcorn, until I researched the ingredients and found some pretty gnarly stuff in them, so I bought a giant handle of the Orville Redenbacher's popcorn kernels (thinking it would be healthier), and instantly tossed it due to the pesticides on it making me feel bad afterwards (you can feel the pesticides coating the inside of your mouth after you're done, even if you rinse out your mouth with water). Nothing like that at all with the Amish Country ones. This is the only popcorn I will ever buy again. The Amish definitely know their corn. Weird Al Yankovic approves ;) Did you find this review helpful?
