Couldn't wait to smoke salmon, fruit and some drinks. It worked great and looking to try other recipes. Good value for price. Will experiment with different flavors of smoke and amount of chips needed. Not difficult to control the amount of smoke you need.

I enjoy this product a lot. I mainly wanted it to add smoke to beverages (I'm a Islay Scotch drinker), but I used it on chicken wings to try it out. It didn't have the smoky flavor I was expecting, but that's due to operator error. I didn't leave the wings in the smoke long enough. It takes a couple of minutes to infuse the smoke flavor. I successfully used it to smoke some whiskey in a curved rocks glass. After letting it sit for 3 or so minutes I could taste the smoke flavor. It wasn't as smoky as the Islay Scotch I'm used to, but it was a pleasant addition to the flavor profile. I haven't had the chance to explore the different types of wood that came with the kit, only used oak, beech, and apple, but eager to try more of them. If you are into smoky foods or drinks I highly recommend this.
