Db was founded in Norway in 2009 by freeski legend Jon Olsson and engineer Truls Brataas with the goal of redefining equipment to enable better travel. Db designs and distributes backpacks, totes, luggage and accessories for urban people who love the outdoor lifestyle and travel. The company is a 6-time Gaselle award winner as it has experienced three-digit growth and sustained profitability since the brand's official launch in 2012. Db is multiple winner of the ISPO Design Award, and Brataas has been awarded the International Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year Award. Db is independent and is managed from its headquarters in Oslo, Norway, where the company employs 60 employees.
