I recently pre-ordered this book, and I was delighted when it arrived just in time for us to begin potty training my 2-year-old. Ms. Rachel has once again crafted an exceptional resource that is particularly helpful for parents navigating the challenges of potty training, especially with stubborn toddlers. The book is engaging and beautifully illustrated, which captures my child's attention effectively. One of his favorite parts is the catchy handwashing song included in the book—it not only makes the learning process more enjoyable but also reinforces good hygiene habits. Additionally, the pages of the book are made from sturdy board material with a glossy finish, making them easy to clean and resistant to wear and tear. This is especially beneficial when dealing with little hands that tend to get sticky! Overall, this book has been an invaluable tool in making the potty training process smoother and more fun for both of us. It provides clear explanations and encourages engagement, making it easier for me to discuss and navigate this important milestone with my toddler.

This is a nice and solid board book. The verbiage is easy and fun to read. My toddler loves thinking the handwashing song and does it constantly when we are out. We love having Bean Bear and the little toilet with accessories. Using these coupled with the Miss Rachel potty training episode really helped our 3 year old solidify potty training and really understand it, in a super easy fun and memorable way!

It’s a cute and educational book for little ones curious about potty training. They don’t even need to know Ms Rachel! She just adds a level of realism to the otherwise cartoony book.

This book allowed my toddler to interact answering a few questions and she paid attention the entire book! She smiled and laughed and really seemed to listen. We’re still potty training and having accidents about 30% of the time. I think this book is helpful in the potty training journey!

If your toddler loves Ms. Rachel, this book will be an instant hit. It follows the same engaging, interactive style that makes her videos so effective for young kids. The illustrations are bright, the language is simple, and the routine-based structure makes it a great tool for teaching bathroom independence. However, one thing I wish it included was wiping as a step in the potty process. My toddler, who is usually very receptive to books reinforcing daily routines, flat-out refused to acknowledge wiping as necessary simply because it wasn’t in the book. I had to supplement with reminders every time, which was frustrating. That said, the handwashing song in the book is fantastic. We use it every single time, and it has made handwashing much more fun and automatic in our house. If your little one responds well to music and repetition, this book will definitely help reinforce good bathroom habits. Just be ready to add in the wiping step yourself if your toddler takes Ms. Rachel as the final word on how things should be done.

Sooo cute I also got my daughter a toy that goes with the book, and she loves it. It’s really helping her through her potty training.

The book is quite helpful if you are starting potty training for your baby.

Ms Rachel has always been a fan favourite in our home. We found this book really great for introducing the concept of potty training to the little one, with faces and characters he was already familiar with. Loved how they explored the "feeling" of needing to use the potty too. A great book for little ones.
