One towel will dry your car!
========== SUMMARY ========== Date of review: 11th October 2020 Price: £15.35 for three towels These are great quality towels which do an excellent job of drying your car without leaving water marks. One towel can dry an entire car (tested on Mercedes hatchback and BMW saloon). I would recommend separating one towel for drying the alloys as you don't want to potentially transfer any residual brake dust or grit onto the paint work of your car. ======= REVIEW ======= The hardest part of washing your car during Autumn and Winter in the UK is that you tend to do it when it is not raining, which usually means the sun is shining. After you have finished washing your car you need to dry off the surface to prevent water spots/marks from being left on the paint, hence the need for these towels. The three towels were packed inside plastic packaging to keep the towels clean during transit, but they are not individually packaged. You should wash the towels before use anyway just to be sure. The towels feel particularly good quality and do not feel cheap or flimsy at all, they are soft enough to use a hand towel. The items are exactly as advertised, so it would be pointless adding pictures because they look the same. My initial idea for these towels was to use one towel to mop up a significant portion of the water after rinsing the car, followed by a proper dry using a second towel. It turns out that one towel will do the job! The amount of water that these towels will absorb is amazing. One towel can dry your whole car (my experience was with a BMW 3-series saloon and a Mercedes A200 hatchback). The whole point of using these towels is to soak up most of the water rather than wiping it off. You don't want to be drying your car like you do your dishes. Drape the towel over the surface and drag it over to soak up the water (alternative, you can just drape over the paint work, lift and repeat on each wet surface). When you feel like the towel is just moving water over your surface, wring it out and continue to use. After I dried a panel, I found that there was a small amount of water left behind and my intention was to follow up with a second towel to dry it out. However, by the time I had finished the next panel the previous panel had completely dried up and did not leave any water marks behind. I would highly recommend that you keep one towel specific for cleaning the alloys. Although I spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the alloys, I did notice some slight soiling of the towel after drying them. You DO NOT want to wipe this towel over your paint work, the last thing you want to do is drag brake dust or grit across your nice clean car (especially if you've just clayed, polished and waxed the paint work). Attached is a picture of my BMW immediately after drying. Unfortunately, silver is an extremely hard colour to photograph up close but as you can see the car is bone dry.

These microfibre cloths are absolutely amazing, really absorbent, extremely soft, nice and thick, and wonderful for buffing lst waxes etc. They bring out a perfect shine. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A must have for your car detailing kit.

Great drying towels
I purchased these almost a year ago and they are still performing very well. Perfect size and great value for money. Based on these, I have recently purchased more Glart products and I’m sure they will be excellent too.

Great absorbency and quality feel
We came across Glart premium soft microfibre cloths for cars when looking for a microfibre cloth for drying our shower enclosure, as we'd been disappointed by others which needed 2 or 3 cloths, and they still didn't dry everything. We bought a 3-pack of Glart 40 x 40 cm cloths, so we always have one ready in the bathroom while the others are being washed or dried. Bit pricey, but they look and feel great, and dry really well - one's enough to dry the enclosure, walls, shower itself and accessories, quickly and wring out once, so we're very pleased. And yes, they are as thick as they look in the photos on Amazon. Might get some for the car too!

Excellent Results
New car demands new cleaning care material and I felt I needed something to express my real true love and care for my new “toy”. In the past, I have always used sponges and chamois leathers to wash and dry my cars but in the end it always felt like a job half done with all the streaks and left behind deposits on the paint surface. These new Glart Super Absorbent Microfiber cloths have taken my new car cleaning and shining to another level. Unlike sponges, they are soft and extremely absorbent and great for detailing. I use one of them for washing the car instead of using a sponge, and can easily guide it with ease everywhere ensuring no area is left unattended as has always been the case with the unforgiving sponges. After rinsing I use the second cloth for drying the car and the third for dusting the interior. The result is truly great, streak free shine, and no fluff left behind! I haven’t yet used any paint polish as my car is brand new but will soon consider of buying some Glart clothes for polishing, too. Highly recommended.
