After trying this brand’s AAs for my Meta Quest controllers, I came looking for the AAAs to power our battery-hungry TV remote, and a few other gadgets around the house. Same handy USB-C charging, no bulky charger, and they work perfectly with the charging block I use all the time. Can’t say yet how the total lifespan compares to other rechargeables, but they already beat disposables by a long shot! :-)

I have a Pelican pen light that absolutely devours batteries. I keep two of these batteries in the light and two charged up in my desk drawer so I can swap them when needed. They work great, and charge in a couple of hours.

I tried charging these on two new chargers I have made for both NiCad and Lithium AA/AAA batteries. 3 out of 4 would not even accept a charge at all no matter which of the 8 position slots I tried on both chargers. My battery tester which displays volts to the nearest 1/10 volt showed NO reading/display at all on the 3 bad (dead) ones and 1.5V on the one that did charge ok. Those 3 batteries were dead. Given these were inexpensive and a gamble anyway, lesson learned. Will return these for refund and shop for a more reliable brand and more positive reviews than just 30 or so for this brand reviewed here. I suggest avoiding these. Even if they arrive and charge ok, my feeling is the risk of failure later-on is higher for this particular brand and model #.

Easy to charge and use, and much more space-efficient than getting multiple packs of single-use batteries. Being usb-c rechargable beats the heck out of having to have a dedicated charging gizmo.

When I first opened these I thought they either sent a messed up USB cord or the connection slot was warped on every battery. I could not get the USB connector to insert into any of them. I tried every battery and every prong of the cord. Eventually one did go in a bit, but none of them fully inserted at all! It looked very weird and iffy but they did light up and blink when I finally forced them all onto the prongs. Very difficult to attach. I haven't had to actually USE one of the charged batteries yet, but the charging is highly annoying.
