These work great and are easy to install. I have other counters and I gotta say this one is the best so far. It hasn’t fallen off nor gotten in the way of my project while knitting. It keeps count until I clear it even during long breaks. I used it on my sentro 40 pin machine because of the slim magnet which has to be thin enough to fit past the feeder, and it does. I also like that I can transfer this to another machine if I want easily.

These little counters are absolutely essential if you are using a 40 pin or 22 pin machine without an onboard counter. When I got my 22, I immediately realized I needed a counter, as there was no way I wanted to have to keep track with my phone (or heaven forbid, my brain! 😬), so to Amazon I went! I found this counter, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could get a 2 pack for fairly cheap. I already had a 40 pin machine on the way, as well, so I figured the extra $10 was worth it. When I got them, I was a bit bummed that the shape of the counter didn't seem to really work for the 22 pin, but as you can see in my photos, it can be stuck in the side, instead of the very top, and it still gets a perfectly accurate count! The only complaint I have at all, is that the little magnet in the part that actually sits on the pins is not stuck well, and BOTH of them came loose and fell out while I was putting them together. I fixed this quickly and easily with a drop of hot glue, however, and no other issues. (So just be ready with some glue!)

Do I appreciate that it came with all the instalation tools? Yes. Do I appreciate that it came with a spare battery? Yes. Do I appreciate that I had to replace the battery immediately upon getting the counter? NO! Do I appreciate that I had to spend around 10 minutes getting the old battery out? NO. Do I appreciate that the counter refused to remain turned on once I replaced the battery and refused to work? NO!!! I was so excited to get this counter, but either Do to two malfunctioning batters and or malfunctioning counter I can't use it. This purchase was a waste of money.

It works, but the magnet can easily fall out. I ended up taping the magnet inside so it won’t fall out. Also I had trouble with the piece falling off so I did place the sticky tabs in different than it was originally. Overall I’m happy it works well I was just a bit surprised by the loose magnet especially with little kids around

Battery dies after 3 or 4 baby hats. Keeps good count, easy to mount. Sensor does not stay put, but I just put double sided tape onnit which is holding.

I got this because the counter on my knitting machine quit working. So far out of 20 some hats this counter has been spot on. Easy to install. Has stayed in place. No loud noise every time it counts. Has ran quite smooth. Seems to be good quality

I wish the screens were backlit, and that the screen was on an angle, but they do work great and fit the Sentros with no issues.
