This is an excellent little drone, responsive and fun to fly. The robust prop protection is ideal for indoor flying where collisions with walls and doorways are inevitable. Seems quite durable overall. The extra batteries make it a good value. The controller offers many options with a minimum of extra buttons. This requires learning combinations of joystick pressing and moving, but they are well described in the instructions. Simple enough for novices to fly. Customer service was very responsive (via email) when the on/off switch on my drone failed. They are sending a free replacement.

Purchased so grandson (8) could learn to control a drone b4 we purchase a larger (more expensive) one and move outside. It is very small but is a real drone. Like all drones in the $100 or less category the battery life is quite short but it comes with more than 1 battery to extend flight time. Also we bought a 2nd drone so more batteries and/or flight time with dad. It is easy for a child to maneuver - he enjoys getting it to walk up the stairs with him. In the $30+ range this was a good value and beats the heck out of the crazy, crashing flying helicopters we have tried in the past.

Nice little drone for the price. Fun to fly, Fairly easy to master. Like all items from China, the instructions are in Chinglish. Yes, they are in English but with the bad Chinese grammar. It is readable, you know what I mean. No dig on the Chinese. I'd prefer they hire out people to write the manuals. All products from China are like this. Tip: The on-off switch is tiny and fragile. Leave it in the on position and power down by removing the battery.

This a fun and cute little drone. Perfect for kids or adults. The bright baby blue color really pops. It is a well made high quality drone. Don't be fooled by it's diminutive size, it is a sophisticated flying machine. It has many built-in functionalities; headless mode, stunt flying, emergency landing. It's surprisely quick for it's size; it has two speed modes to choose from. Don't forget to read the manual. My drone kept flying to the right but after calibrating, it hovered in one place and flew true. It comes with extra propellers, three batteries, and two chargers. It's fun and easy to fly.

After owning two other Veeniix drones, I decided to get this for my five-year-old son who wanted a drone that doesn't require a smartphone to use. The drone itself is very small and quite cute, and he just loved it when he saw it. It's a lot less intimidating than larger drones. The remote is also perfectly sized and easy to use. Initially the number of buttons on the controller can be a little confusing and the myriad functionality can be daunting. Fortunately, you don't need to use these if you're just doing ordinary flying. The one function that us helpful is headless mode which you can turn on with the push of a button. This makes learning to fly a drone much easier. I've tried many other small kid-friendly drones before and always found them to be too fragile and difficult to control. And while this drone isn't perfect and does take some calibration, it still allowed me to get flying in under five minutes and I was able to easily control the drone and fly it around my front yard. It does have some functionality that allows it to do flips and tricks, but I haven't had time to explore these options because they're a bit more complicated, but im excited to try them out in the future. Overall, I feel this is a solid drone that incorporates the feel and functionality of a larger, more professional drone. I would definitely recommend this for parents who want to get a drone for their kids as long as they're aware that it will take some help to get their kids up and running. I love that it comes with three batteries so that you can swap it out quickly when necessary and get at least a good 30 to 40 minutes of flying time in.

This is a great mini drone for indoor flying. I use the drone to keep my flying skills up indoors, and for outdoor transition to my larger drone. It’s really fun to fly. The price point is good for what you’re getting.

The main amazing parameters are weight and strength. A lot of wall hits or crashes - no traces on walls and from still flies. The bad thing, control is not clear. Especially for toddler. I have spent about half hour to understand how to control the drone. The instruction has too small font and I have no significant glass to read that ;(

Easy to fly and reasonably rugged mostly due to its low inertia/weight. 5 year old learned to fly it over grass. Only issue is a small and fiddly battery that an adult may need to replace for a younger child. Good news is that 3 batteries are included. Decent flight time per battery charge.

Ce petit drone fonctionne bien et a fait le joie de ma petite fille de 8 ans, comme cadeau de Noël !...il faut être attentif et délicat pour bien faire le changement des batteries, car c'est miniature.... coté positif, il y a trois batteries et deux cables de recharge... c'est un jeux qui captive et demande de l'adresse pour améliorer son expérience...
