Works and with minimal odor, great

I have been using this product for over 20 years, previously would purchase from local pharmacy, but they no longer carry. Noticed that Amazon know handles at an excellent price. will continue purchasing from Amazon.

I am always the skeptic. Too good to be true, usually is. But the reviews were mostly positive for this product. I take care of my skin and even though I'm 58, my skin looks like i'm in my early 40s. No surgery. Just good, healthy cleansers and moisturizers. I also expfoliate 2 - 3 times per week (the black gooey stuff). Despite being fair skinned with some pigment/freckles on my skin, my face has ZERO age spots. But now to the subject of this product. I have used it 4x in the past 1-1/2 weeks. I followed directions exactly. My hair is salt and pepper but in these 4 uses, I am now more pepper than salt. The change is subtle but slightly noticeable. Results are premature I know. I will update my review in a week or two but so far, so good. My whole point in the first paragraph is that if you're like me and you take care of your skin to keep yourself looking healthy, why stop with your face?

I have had issues with lead based products. This product, for me, is a definite improvement. It takes very little product to get the shade that is desired, and very little to maintain it, usually only twice a week. A couple of hints: Don't rub it in. Spread it out on the palms of your hands and start from the areas with most hair. Then comb it through, forward and back, which will give you even distribution and color. Make sure to wash your hands and comb when finished. Start with a minimum of cream to see how much you need. Some nen's hair absorbs better than others.

I used the older product for over 10 years. Sorry to say this new "lead free" product doesn't do the job as well and leaves a black sticky residue on my hair which ends up on my pillow and comb.

You do need to be patient, it's not instant. Use sparingly , less is more. You also need to develop a routine and stay with it. If you do these things you will eventually get some very good results.
