Awesome camera. Great picture clarity. Lot of features as compared to other cameras

I brought this camera for Monitoring the Garage. The Quality of the Video capured and the Apps (Both the Desktop and Android) are Good with decent features. In the setup process, got stuck in the selection of WiFi and password process, somehow the YouTube videos of the setup and the current version of Imou App Setup is little Different. After some time, finally able to resolve it. Afterwards everything is going Good. Night Vision of the Camera is also Good. Very Good Camera and the features rich App for the money, we spend. Notes:: I thought, Camera Ball-Head mount should allow you to rotate 360 Degree to fix any Angle we like, But it's only allowing less than 180 Degree.

The camera is decent and can be set up with just an electric connection to where you want the camera, and you ofcourse need a good wifi coverage. Only thing that sucks is the human detection mode if the subject is far away or on a vehicle. Turning on human detection turns off motion detection notification. Can't have both. When you turn on just Motion detection, the notifications are good and notifies every movement but i wouldn't have used it if human detection was good. But it isn't. Especially if the angle from camera to person isn't what the camera is trained to. Also the subscription charge per cam is very high. And it doesn't save 24/7 footage as well which is a bummer. It just stores based on detection. But most of the time the detection is good. The save to device from the subscription plan quality of video is very low as well. I think it was 600px dimensions. Enjoyed the 2 weeks free trial 😂 and that's about it. The subscription Should be made around 1$ a cam which would make it more affordable. As the video they store is basically just for 1 or 2weeks based on plan and resolution they store is also less so it shouldn't be more than 10 GB for motion detected recordings. Update after almost a year. Before the end of 1 year warranty, the wifi adapter part started acting up on one of the cam i bought even tho it's just 5-6 meters from the access point. The camera which is 15 meter from access point is working fine. Definitely camera manufacturing defect. Tried contacting the support twice but no response. Pathetic service

Easy to install, High quality as mentioned, have to add SD card from side, or have cloud purchase option from brand. Or can buy an NVR which depends on your use

The company said it's weatherproof... I will cover this issue after using one year. 2mp security camera is quite basic night vision perpose, due to the sensor it's unable to zoom clearly and for this issue you can view something but unable to zoom or take a clear picture after a certain range. Now technical support issue : the team who are dedicated to give support to the customers are not professional and the public relation technic is really poor. Most probably this is a common Indian mentality ( gather some positions and then enjoy the position f*c* responsibility). First faced to pair the imou nvr and camera, when I called to the particular number given for tech support, they tried to make me connect with another unknown whatsapp number. After calling that number I found the contact number switch off and they regulating the whatsapp from different device. Doesn't it looks like start some scam? They asked my laptop access... That means they have no area wise tech team. Why should anyone going to give the permission to access their laptop when there are plenty of Indian call centers involvement in scam. Eventually I found someone who help me to figure it out and now the system working fine. If you carefully handle this Indian people. You may go for it.
