A worth while purchase
It’s a great game. We are having a lot of fun playing it! A nice homage to the video game, and a unique way to build the rogue-lite genre into a board game. I’m surprised how well the system works. I highly recommend the game to anyone who likes this genre of video game, and who likes cooperative board games. The negatives are as follows: 1. The instructions are very poorly worded and confusing. We had to rely heavily on online message boards and even still, I think some rules are things we have made up or misinterpreted. 2. The storage within the box is a good idea but poorly executed. It is very difficult to keep the various decks from intermingling. We ended up using a dozen small plastic bags to hold the individual decks. 3. The set up/take down time is significant not only for each run, but between each biome. Not a good game for anyone with poor patience or short attention span. 4. It’s a big, heavy game, that uses a significant amount of table space, so it isn’t very portable.

Dead Cells: The Rogue-lite Board Game – A Fantastic Experience
Dead Cells: The Rogue-lite Board Game is an absolute gem, especially for solo players. It’s a super enjoyable experience where you can easily spend just a few minutes or get lost in it for hours. The game is addictive and captures that same “just one more round” feeling you get from the video game. For the price, the box is packed with content—so much so that it barely closes once everything is punched out! That said, setting up and storing the game is a breeze thanks to the well-organized box and the Mutation board, which makes gameplay and cleanup smooth and hassle-free. It’s great value compared to other games I’ve seen that are more expensive yet offer less in terms of components. As for shipping to Colombia, I had no issues at all. The package was well-packed, and the box arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended for fans of the video game or anyone looking for an engaging, replayable board game!

Pretty illustrations, good game
Great game, very pretty illustrations. Enjoyable with friends and enjoy the set up and feel of the pieces. Enjoy failing over and over until you all get better to progress through the game.

Awesome game! Please find a way for direct merchandise the English version in Germany/Europe!
The Dead cells board game is an amazingly designed and fun co-op (or solo) experience, encapsulating the best parts of the video game while adding its own charm to all of it. Making Progress feels rewarding and leaves great options to explore. Great game both for fans of the Video game or just board games in general. As the title of the review says: It was quite expensive to order the game via Amazon US paying the custom fee and high shipping charges. As the French version is available in Europe please consider offering the English version in Germany/Europe as well!

Amazing for Newbies and Longtime Fans!
I love Dead Cells and had been telling my friends for years about how great a video game it is. This board game is a fantastic spin on it that finds a way to make video game elements work in a board game format. It is also a fantastic way to share a game I love with my friends. They all have found this game enjoyable, and I would say it is worth every penny.

Really amazing game!
This was a gift for my son, who is a Rogue-lite enthusiast. But even for a newcomer to the genre, this is fun to play and great to watch him enjoy! There is such brilliance to the way they have designed this board game to be just like a save file on a video game. It is a blast to play and is so versatile and flexible to the options of associated players coming and going within the overall campaign. After a short time to understand the mechanics, the game pace is quick and exciting. It does take quite a bit of table space to play comfortably (and time to set up all the pieces), but worth the effort!

Simply not fun. The polar opposite of what makes the video game enjoyable.
Dead Cells the video game may not be my favorite game ever, but it's probably the best $20 I've spent in terms of hours put in and we own all he content on multiple platforms. My two kids and I all love this game. We all want to like the board game, but we can't recommend it. This is a good idea, BURIED in complexity, terrible instructions, a ridiculous mechanic of picking the game back up in terms of "runs" that simply fails in execution and guidance. You spend more time in set up and take down for this game than you do enjoying it. Even after several attempts it's a constant jumble of how things work and planning and weird balance and ordering. We want to like it, but it's a bog down chore. Not fun to play. Hurts to say, but especially for the cost, we feel it was money wasted.

Fun game, but poorly paced and with balancing issues
The early game was a blast, we had challenging but achievable runs and it felt great when we took down the first boss. It also did great at adapting many of the enemies. Unfortunately, that is where the praise ends. The moment we got some key upgrades the game kind of just broke. We went through all the rest of the game with little to no effort. High Peak Castle was supposed to be this daunting biome where we would have to struggle our way through and have to make these key choices to progress but we kept steamrolling through every fight, many enemies were not even a threat when left alone. Meta progression is also somewhat frustrating due to some key upgrades being locked behind RNG checks, it felt terrible doing an extra run through the Sewers just with the intention of unlocking the vine rune to fail to get the tile 2 times in a row just out of bad luck. Even if it is optional, whether we unlock or not some features should never be linked to RNG. The game also advertises unlimited replayability due to the boss cells system, but you have only one boss cell really, it's not like you can pile them over until the game challenges us again. Also, just do not play The Poisoned. Once you understand how the character works and how to make use of it, it's just too strong. There is a printing mistake in one of the character's sheets which is extremely confusing. Feels like if the game was tested a bit more we could have gotten a more streamlined version.
