This is a fun little track that our kids have enjoyed immensely. As other reviewers have said, the directions are a bit murky, however, dad powers prevailed, and I was able to assemble this track in just a few minutes. Then we were off to the races. Now, I'm no slot-car expert, but this track is significantly more fun to use than a similarly priced one we own that features a green dinosaur and a mustached plumber with a red hat. That track brought many hours of fun but has since been sidelined due to the awesomeness of this track. First of all, loops. They are cool, and something new. Second, this track can be powered in a variety of ways, so I don't have to go bankrupt buying batteries. Big win. So far, no real complaints but will update this review if anything breaks.

I would not suggest buying this cheap piece of Chinese made crap. I bought this for my 5-year-old grandson, and there are numerous issues with it: First, the instructions are garbage. You basically have to figure it out on your own with trial and error. Secondly, once assembled the cars won't even go under the overpass. I had to cut a couple of 2x4s for the cars to fit. Lastly, the cars don’t even have enough power to go through the loops. I eventually gave up and removed the loops so now it is just a track without the loops. I should return it, but do not have enough time before his birthday. So, he is getting this track with no loops as shown in the picture. This product cost $40, it should go for $10. It’s really sad that garbage engineering and manufacturing has come to this.

I was so excited to receive this and share it with younger family members. It brought back great memories of time spent with my dad 50+ years ago. It's a large set and packaged well. Then comes the build, the directions are a bit simplistic and could be better. The railings, remote and overall wiring is not the quality I expected at this price. There is a lot of track and it would be an excellent value if more attention had been put into the other areas. Less track, better cars, remote and wiring would y new ones. Assembly was ok but instructions could of been better especially about setting up the towers for the loops. Multiple ways to power it up which was nice as you can use batteries, a power bank, or plug directly into a usb power block. Once up and running the track was fairly sturdy and no real problems there. The cars can be a little hit and miss and no always evenly fast as each other. wish there was an option for more cars.

I don't know anything about these, I just thought, these would be fun for our LO.The instructions were not very helpful on putting it together, and where the support platforms go, but we managed. These are fun and functional well. Great item for the price. Make sure to install bumpers on the road, so the outter loop car, doesn't fly out.
