I bought this to keep my hair under control whilst diving and to protect my scalp whilst at the surface or snorkelling. I’ve tried similar in the past and find they have a tendency to slip off and get lost whilst underwater (I have quite a large head!). This pair of skull caps came with a separate elasticated band which slips over the top of the cap around the head and holds it in place. Whilst on holiday I did 22 dives, some in strong currents, and didn’t have any problems. I also spent quite a bit of time snorkelling without my scalp burning in the tropical sun. I’ll be buying another pair of these so I can be certain to have them for future dive holidays.
