Has a lot of nice features. Why I bought it is because this Z890 motherboard uses a Realtek ALC 1220 codec. The interference caused by other USB devices which can happen with USB 2.0 audio codecs like ALC 4080 and 4082. I recently returned an ASUS motherboard because of these problems.

Lots of M.2 slots. Works well with old ODD and SSD. Lots of expansion expansion capability.

Has more than enough M.2 slots and lots of USB ports. It's been getting the job done with no issues.

If it was a little out of spec i would not make a fuss, but it was more than 3/16th of an inch. I did not even feel safe putting the board in a case let alone putting power to it. The back was also damaged as solder points had been bent. Oddly the shipping box was ok, it was the box inside that showed signs of being opened and thrown around. Send it back and ordering another one. I will update when that one comes in. UPDATE, new motherboard came in and it works great. it is still very heavy on the mid point, enough that it should of had a back plate to start with. but once you have it running it is very smooth and the gigabyte software is fantastic. so minus one star for no backplate.

This motherboard is a beast. Very premium. Heavy. Tons of features. Including onboard Thunderbolt. That’s why I went with team blue again. Regardless of the critics on Intel right now, I am very pleased with the performance. I am simply blown away. If you have the spare cash around, this is the one to get.

Works flawless it had all the connections and options I needed

There are defects, the RGB lighting software is very poorly made, and the motherboard will report a fault code when a second monitor is plugged into it.
