Easy to fill
I got this because of 2 things. The lid type is the style I prefer. At work I have to have the part that my lips touch to be covered and this fits that. Plus I just like to drink out of these from that.Second reason was the super wide mouth. I have some wide mouth ones but those are a bit harder to fill with ice. My job has a ice machine and ice gets everywhere with the other bottles. With this one, because it’s super wide, ice goes in it with ease.I also like the size. I get about 2 16.9oz water bottles in this when it’s full of ice. I had a 40 oz bottle and when full of ice would only get 1 16.9 oz bottle. So it’s nice to have more water which means less times having to refill.Overall for me this is great. The only complaint I might have would be lack of lids. Maybe would be nice to see a lid that has a straw or a lid that has not drink spout on it. I got another brand, same size but it had the smaller lid size, but that came with 3 types of lids. The lid issue mentioned personally does not bother me because it was the lid style I prefer, but might for someone else. I have not looked if they sell lids to fit this. Believe it’s 4”.Overall, love having this. Another note, it does keep ice in it. End of day I still will have ice and water in it, and by start of shift the following morning, it still has some ice left. Also because of the extra wide mouth, it’s easier to clean. And so far, it does not leak. I fill it with ice, then water and then I shake it for about 30-60 seconds to get the water cold. No leaks.

So Far, So Good!
I've only put it to work recently, so this is an initial impression of this jug. I did a 24-hour test, filling the jug from room temperature (about 75F), filled it with cubed ice and cool water, and put it to work. It stayed in the house for several hours, took it to a high school fall ball doubleheader (I am an umpire) which was in the evening and the outdoor temperature started at about 80F and ended at 70F, drank plenty out of the jug but did not recharge it with ice or water, and 24-hours later, it still has an impressive amount of ice in the jug! I won't be able to give it a proper test until next summer, but so far, it is worth the price! I might set it up and put it in the car for a day to see how it does in a consistently hot environment, but even if I get 12+ hours in the car, I'll be impressed. The only challenge is drinking out of the small spout in the lid. Ice gets caught in it blocking the hole, but it's not a deal breaker. Enjoy and stay hydrated!

Tough. Looks good. Affordable.
I bought this half gallon and have Not put it down ever since. I have been never into the bring a water bottle with you everywhere you go club, but I definitely am now. Everyone can talk about the specs and how many minutes longer the yeti will keep your drinks cooler or whatever. Promise you that does not matter. What does matter is price, durability, function and aesthetics in my opinion. If you're looking for a bottle that you can keep soup hot from Monday- Friday, I don't know if this bottle will do that. What it will do is keep a half gallon ice cold all day on tap ready to go. This bottle is $30ish dollars. This bottle looks cool. I wear construction and I have absolutely beat up this bottle... Dropped off of a roof one day etc.. still good. I don't know if it would make it if it landed on the cap like that but luckily my drop didn't do that. Long story short highly recommend this bottle. I've never tried an over $100 yeti bottle, and I don't know if I ever will.

Great water bottle!
Great product! As a groundskeeper, I’ve been through many water bottle brands and sizes. But, the plastic ones do not hold up especially if dropped or if falling off equipment. Other than that I’ve had many that have spouts that break, or leak from the lid and it’s super annoying. This one is stainless steel, and I chose no color so it doesn’t chip off and look bad. I love that it has a screw on lid, and screw on cap to ensure no leaks and a tight seal. I’m positive I’ll have this many years, possibly and hopefully decades. But if I somehow drive over it on a tractor, I’ll replace it with another from RTIC.
