A little thick for wearing with a shoe but it holds my ankle in position better than any other ankle brace I have tried and I have tried several. I have two and will buy same when they wear out. 10 out of 10 do recommend.

I am currently recovering from peroneal tendinitis and wanted to ease back into running. I also have a foot that tends to roll outwards. I found this brace very helpful for stabilizing my foot and had less pain over the peroneal tendon after using this compared to my runs without it! I did find it difficult to set up at first, so make sure to use the instruction guide when you put it on for the first time :)

Does what it’s supposed to do. A little tough getting it on and off as you almost have to completely unlace/loosen it each time. Very supportive.

Product was fine but I needed it by a certain day and it came a day late.

Have to wear for a few months.

My doctor prescribed a similar brace for me; insurance was billed over $350 for it. So I bought this for a lighter color for warm weather. The design principles are identical, the size was the same. The difference is in the very top straps that cinch everything together. I have 7-1/2" ankles - like sticks. The top strap only has 1" of overlap! I will have to cut the laces down to reduce the bulk on the top of my ankle to be able to use this at all. It's odd that they used such long laces, and such short top straps. I've missed my return opportunity, so all I can do is try to modify it. Just ask your doctor for the overpriced one, and put up with wearing black all year.
