I bought this for my daughter who got a job that interacts with building operations. She isn't in a construction zone often, but I didn't want her stuck on the sidelines for lack of gear. This one is shiny with a carbon fiber weave pattern on it. Its code compliant, functional, not overtly immasculine. A plain one wouldn't do but a pink one or something like that would be worse. It is exactly the right professional gear for what she does. I'd wear it.

Needed hardhat for work, this one checked all the boxes plus came in a more discreet color. Happy with the purchase. Price range is standard. Prefer not schlepping to Home Depot when I can get this delivered straight to my door within 2 days! Recommend

Order placed 30 March 2023. Item arrived promptly - except it was not the item I had ordered. I had ordered the vented hard hat but was sent the unvented model instead. I immediately returned the incorrect item I had received and asked for it to be replaced with what I had originally ordered. They admit to a shipping error and tell me they are sending me the correct replacement. Replacement shows up in my Amazon orders as having been sent 3 April 2023. I wait and wait for my replacement ... 20 April 2023 and still no sign of my replacement. I follow up with the company and they tell me "the requested item is not in inventory". So I asked them to resend the unvented model that they had originally sent me. Item was reshipped and received promptly. Now let me talk about the hard hat itself. I purchased this model because it is slotted. I wanted a slotted hard hat to be used with various slotted accessories - like my recently purchased Sellstrom Dual Crown Safety Face Shield with Universal Hard Hat Slot Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WJHI3L0. This is the reason I wanted to buy their slotted hard hat - in order to use a face shield or ear protection with universal hard hat slot adapters. My new safety face shield fits the Pyramex Ridgeline Cap Style slotted hard hat perfectly! The innovative dial ratcheting suspension is very comfortable. This hard hat is light, fits well, and is comfortable - even with the added weight of the face shield and I love the dial ratchet suspension as well as its attractive gray color! I am very happy with my purchase! To the company's credit they were very responsive to my enquiries and also refunded my purchase cost! This is excellent customer service and the product is an excellent purchase at an excellent price, which I highly recommend. The product is worth 5 stars. However I am still knocking off 1 star because I think their multiple shipping attempts could have been avoided if the company had just been more upfront about not having inventory of the vented hard hats right at the beginning. In fact, their Amazon product listing still shows the vented hard hats as being in stock. I know other customers have also complained about the same shipping error.
