Having a Negroni Gang reunion - 5 of us so bought the 4 pack and this single bit of fun and fair price

As a negroni drinker these are great tasting.

Size It's a tiny can - being a "pocket" negroni of course, it literally is. Small enough to pop in your jeans pocket (though I'm not sure why you would) or a purse/bag discreetly. Being small, it does mean you have a very small drink too. Taste It's strong - very strong which I personally quite like. The flavours are balanced and you can taste the gin but also everything else in the cocktail too it's nicely put together. You absolutely want this served either with plenty of ice, or ice cold. I put it in the freezer for a few hours before I tried it this evening and it was sublime. Price however, is quite high for what you get. I got one can to try and would have liked to have a few to see if it's a taste I continue to enjoy, or otherwise.

This is a high quality canned cocktail, you can tell the ingredients are better than a typical supermarket alternative. The can is also cute so it's a good gift as well. More expensive than other cans but it's worth it if you love negronis

Bought this as a stocking filler for my Husband, it’s such a cute size I was really excited for him to open it. Sadly he didn’t love the taste, but still a nice idea

This little can really does carry a punch! The Negroni cocktail, when served over ice, tastes just like a full-strength professionally-mixed cocktail. It is very bitter. These would be great to drink at home, as an aperitif, when you want a cocktail but don’t want to buy lots of different bottles of alcohol or specialist mixers. I’d say that it would be great for festivals, but you really do need the ice as it’s far too strong to drink without it.

I used to enjoy Negronis whenever I visited Italy on business. My customers knew my taste so always ordered one for me in the evenings when I was meeting them. I probably had far too many in my time!! I tried making them at home, but somehow they never tasted quite the same, so I haven't had one in a few years. I saw this advertised in a can. Could it taste like a real Negroni? I had my doubts, as I have tried a number of canned cocktail mixer drinks before and have always been disappointed. When this came I could hardly wait to open it (before the 5 o'clock somewhere time of day!!). It looked the business, but would it taste right? Oh YES YES! I was so pleasantly surprised when I tasted this that it brought tears to my eyes as it brought back all the happy memories of my times in Italy, especially of the many customers who became very good friends, some of whom are sadly no longer with us. The taste is superb, so if you enjoy Negroni, you will love this. I think my past experience made me very wary of canned alcoholic drinks. I believe this is because all the drinks I have tasted up until now have had mixers in them, but this drink is pure alcohol and so it has the genuine taste of a 'real' drink. Fantastic - and such a good idea to have these in little cans so you don't have to go to all the hassle of having to make one. Just pull the ring and you have a great authentic drink all ready for you. Well done Whitebox!
