Worst coffee maker we have ever owned. The coffee flavor is not great, and we use pods that we have been using for ever in other machines. The machine leaks all over the counter and makes a mess. Now, it is flashing lights on the top, and it is impossible to find instructions on line or in YouTube on how to fix it. It is trash.

I am a real customer and a real coffee drinker. I had been very happy with the Dolce Gusto machines and wore mine out after many years. Since they are being phased out, I looked for a machine that could still use my Dolce Gusto pods. I found this machine not only could use these pods, but several other brands especially Illy, my other favorite coffee. I read the reviews and I was also concered about the high pitch sound it first made so I contacted the seller. They explained it is not a defect, but the pressure (sound) is needed for the espresso. (I then remembered that I have also heard similar noise at espresso shops.) Then, two months into the use of my machine, I experienced what one reviewer mentioned about the machine not working and lights flashing on the control panel. I tried to figure out what the problem was and contacted the seller again. The machine needed cleaning and they walked me through the process-- I guess I did not see that in the manual! So, I think it's a great coffee/espresso maker with great customer service. I will add, regarding the comments about leakage, that in the past with my other machines, that occurred when I tried to use various knock-off pods that are less expensive, but you get what you pay for!

I had my eye on this coffee machine for a long time, but I was hesitant to but it due to bad reviews. I got to tell you, I should have bought it right away, because this is the most amazing coffee machine I had - and I owned pretty much all of the models and makes on the market. More than anything I love the fact that you can control the coffee strength both in water level and temperature, as well as the pre-soaking option. People reporting dripping are just plain out lazy. I am extremely picky about my coffee, and I love this machine.

I love my koltie 5 in 1 19 var machine. I drink dolce gusto made from it and its perfect each time. Hubby drinks Keurig coffee from it and he loves it!We had a problem with all the lights flashing. Couldnt get it to work at all after 3 months of use. Reached out to amazon and arranged a refund. I then atarted googling what could be wrong and all it needed was to be cleaned. Coukdnt find this or insteuctions anywhere in the manual or troubleshooting guide, but found it on google. Cleaned it and its working great now. So just for your info after using for so many times all the lights will start flashing, and you have to clean the machine for it to work correctly again. Would have been great to have this info from the start. Overall its a great machine and makes an amazing cup of coffee.

Love that I can use the Nescafé pods again! After living in Europe for a year, k cups weren’t cutting it.Pros- makes delicious Nescafé, easy to use, convenientCons--I usually have to make two cups of coffee to equal a normal (8oz) cup of coffee. The highest fill setting is about 4 ounces. But the Nescafé pods are made for those specifications….so not much a con as an advisory.-(not specific to this machine but the pods) Nescafé pods hold water, I put the used pod in a cup and after a few hours drain the cup and then throw away the pod. If you don’t, you will have fluid in your trash bag.UPDATE-****If your machine starts blinking through the heat colors and blinking the fill lines, you need to DESCALE the machine. Super easy, put half and half water/white vinegar in reservoir and hit the brew button. Brew 3-4 times until the reservoir is empty, then runs the hot water cycle 3-4 times. Fixes the error code, machine will work perfectly again.

Stay away from this one. It leaks and I had to explosions where the pressure pulled it apart. The water is very hot and burning does not feel good. Had a little less than two months and even though the machine is defective I cannot return it. Be very careful.

Great coffee maker. Super quality, well made, well engineered, and it does make super great coffee.Pros:- faster than you think - the warm and ready position is faster than you think - same as anything else- all the different cups works so easy; I tired k-cup, OG nespresso, and even loose leaf and coffee grounds; al great- all the settings are easy to do - pretty awesome little machine- compact. wow.. high quality, compact machineCons:There is only 2 cons that I can make this, in my opinion, a HIGH regret and never recommend:1. It says there are 7 different water volumes - BUT it doesn't say that 8oz is the limit - and it is. For those that like COFFEE and want a 6oz, 8oz, 10oz and even 12 oz cup of coffee to go -- forget it. You get up to 8oz -- really disappointing. I just assumed that the 7-volume water feature was exactly what I needed. NOPE. Everything is just ONE SIZE or smaller.2. For the cost, there are machines that can do so much more. Yes, the compact is great. The design of this product is fantastic, equal to the quality. BUT, not having bigger coffee cup sizes was a complete let down for the money.If you are really looking for k-cup that can go make a small and big cup of coffee, go elsewhere. This is a 1-trick pony that's real unique selling point is multiple "cups" - but the let down is going to be hard knowing you'll have to sit and wait (and do the math) for a home or 'to-go" coffee over a 8oz.Great coffee, super quality machine, very creative and soooOOOOoo easy to use. But a 1-size fits all makes me regret sacrificing size for real need. And the cost now feels soooooooOOoo regretful. Damn.
