Nice but a nightmare to install
Poor installation instructions and hardware. Recommend using washers on both sides of the hanger bolts. Took way too much time / physical effort / cursing to get in. Also best done with 2 humans!

Looks great and works perfectly
I am pretty happy with this range hood. It’s powerful and sleek l. You need two people for the installation per instructions as it’s heavy. It comes with multiple vent ports that you can switch based on your vent duct. It supports rectangular and 6in dia ducts

Read my review before you order
I researched for several months and ordered this. And spent several hours/days regretting buying this. I’m an appliance expert so please hear my detailed thoughts on this:Who is this product for? It’s for builders to directly install on new homes. It’s not for regular users meaning to do-it-yourself (DIY).Why is it not do-it-yourself? They don’t have any instructions for how to install. They have a two page brochure for how to stick a stupid logo but they have one line instruction for installation. The installation instruction is “hang it under the cabinet”. That’s it.Installation procedure is very poorly thought out. Or maybe they even forgot it. They just drilled a bunch of holes in inaccessible areas and ask you to figure out how to fix. The hardware they provided for installation is laughable. They provided expansion bolts and ask you to use a drill in a location that is inaccessible. I threw that stuff in garbage and bought a bunch of bolts and screws.How to install?It’s a three person job. Two persons lift it while the other inserts the bolts and secures it. This thing is damn heavy (like 20lbs) and the weight unevenly distributed over a large area. And you have to hold it while screwing it. Good luck to your back.How is the performance? Meh. It’s way too loud for the same performance as my previous hood. My previous hood was 300 CFM. This hoods max is 500 CFM. But even with setting 1, this hood sounds 2X more than my old hood. I measured dB using my phone.Final thoughts:Unless you are a home builder looking to bulk purchase range hoods, this is not for you. Go buy Broan hoods. Don’t waste your time and energy like I did.

The hood it great but you can't change the color from 24 hr to 12 hours
It sucks you can not change the clock to 12 hours in stead of 24 their is no way to do this 😕😞☹️😢

Better than what I thought
Bought this Cosmo KSU36 500 CFM to replace my old less powerful range. Checked Costco NXR 800 CFM range hood but decided to buy Cosmo because of good reviews and much cheaper price. This range has more sucking power than what I thought. I just need to use 2nd level of fan setting and it works for me. Just one suggestion for the improvement: making the big mounting hole bigger to let the washer in easily. It was a struggle to push the washer and screw into the hole while holding the range hood up.

Very nice and slick design
Love this slick and simple design. The only negative point is that it only displays Military time and I have not been able to change to standard time!

Great Range Hood for a Fantastic Price.
Sprucing up the kitchen, we decided to add a range hood over our stove. The hood is well-built and packaged well. Installation took longer than expected because there is no template to use for drilling holes and cutting cabinets for duct work. The fan is loud but is expected with the volume of air the hood circulates. Overall no issues with the range hood. Pretty pleased with it so far.

New range hood
Nice range hood which replaced a 30+ year hood. Like the ability to clean filter in dishwasher. It is a little loud though.
