nice and practical little folding bag
I love this little foraging bag. It's a clever design. It folds up and packs neatly and when you find some mushrooms or chestnuts, you can unfold it into this relatively spacious bag. IT can be clipped onto a belt for hands-free foraging and It's water resistant and looks good and its quite hardwearing as well.

A decent stocking-filler for a forager
I just...sigh...well, I just can't help but wish the parts that are 'leatherette' were proper leather. I think real leather would really make this product sing and I'd honestly pay double the current asking price of a tenner if it had that real rustic vibe through and through. Know what I mean? But, as it is, this is quite a nice wee belt for going out shrooming and would make a decent stocking-filler for a forager friend.

Nice compact foldable foraging pouch
This is a nice waxed foraging pouch. It comes nicely folded up with a button clasp and can be attached on your belt and opened and expanded to place your fruit, leaves, mushrooms etc...The pouch is smallish, however does manage to hold quite a lot, but don't expect to hold lots of large mushrooms. After emptying the pouch is easily turned inside out to wipe clean or run under water. Once dry the pouch is easily folded back up.

Not huge volume
Does not have a huge amount of space in it but perfect for taking on a walk and picking some things for supper. Very lightweight when empty, really easy to just dust off, and folds up really well. I've used this foraging for a variety of things and it has been great.

Smells really bad
UPDATE: the smell has pretty much gone after being left hanging in the garden for a week in the rainy weather. Highly recommend doing this before using it.The first thing I noticed is the awful smell of this thing, I wouldn’t want it next to my clothes let alone near anything I’m going to eat, it is a fusty, stale almost mouldy smell and is VERY unpleasant. I’m going to leave it outside for a week or so, see if that lessens it. The ‘faux leather’ is a bit naff and cheap looking. It also isn’t as big as hoped, it will need regular emptying if you’re on a good foraging run.I was hoping for more from this item, I will re-visit it in the garden in a week or so, and update the review when I can handle it without coming away with the awful smell on my hands. Shame.

Great collapsible pouch.
This is a wonderful little utility item that just attaches to a belt or other loop, and expands into a nice fabric bag that can hold quite a bit of produce or other light items. It collapses pretty small, and also has drawstrings to keep it closed.I don't really have much else to say about this or comment on, but I did find that the way it was folded initially wasn't actually able to be folded down and attached to a belt, and I had to do a bit of refolding on it.

Fantastically useful foraging pouch
I really like this. It attaches to your belt and folds up so you're barely conscious of it. Just pop it open and unfold the bag to use it. This is ideal for unplanned foraging. You can leave this on a belt and forget about it until you need it.The bag is waxed (and needs a bit of an airing before use - it smells quite strongly initially) and not huge, but is ideal for opportunistic foraging. If you were planning on a mushroom-hunting trip or similar, then this is a useful adjunct, but shouldn't be your main bag. But if you're out and about and happen to come across something, this is perfect. Pop it open and you've got a really handy pouch. The faux leather covering is a bit on the cheap side, which make me wonder how long it will last. And the bag itself has some stray threads that needed clipping. So I'm marking it down by a point for those things. But that doesn't detract from what is a a fantastically useful and unique (I've never seen another) foraging pouch.

Perfect for fossil collecting or mudlarking!
This bag is not just for foraging mushrooms. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for to help with fossil collecting on a beach or (licensed) mudlarking. It easily and securely clips on to my belt and is the perfect size for collecting lots of small bits, with easy one-handed operation to open the drawstring up before closing it again to keep your finds secure. It has a slight smell but I like it! It’s the normal smell of a waxed jacket and the wax coating will keep the damp items inside from leaking onto your clothes or bag. Very handy piece of kit.
