I have been an insulin dependent diabetic for 20 years and have tested 5 to 6 times a day to keep my blood sugar in control. The minute I turned 65 and stated on Medicare I found out that they only allow you to use 3 strips a day. There is no way I can keep it under control testing just 3 times a day. My son, also a diabetic, recommended these strips to me. I had to buy a new meter that is compatible with these strips but have found them to be very inexpensive compared to the prescription strips. They are also very accurate and now I don't have to ration my strips I get from Medicare. Highly recommend!

A cost effective test strip. It is accurate as the one touch test strip. I know this as I compared the at the same time. I have two meters. I made sure both were tested at the same time. I then set both up one with a one touch strip the other one with these . Pricked my finger an applied the blood to both strips. Both meters read within a few points of each other.

I like these strips for their effectiveness and cost. I can finally afford to check my blood as often as I am supposed to.If there is one complaint, it would be that the lancets are useless to me. They do not fit the clicker device that fits in the case with my Mini Meter. I've thrown away a lot of them already.

The reviews were more favorable than negative for these blood glucose test strips! My co-pay for 150 one touch test strips is $75. So to try 200 of these strips for $32 was a no brainer!! These test strips were within 5 units of the one touch strips. My highs and lows were accurate enough for me to continue using these from now on. I will be buying these from now on.Joe M.

At first I thought these were off compared to my current strips but once I updated the code on my unit to match the bottle they were pretty close to the same.My insurance stopped paying for the strips so I’ll just buy these instead. They are cheaper than the new brand they want me to buy using my insurance.

These test strip are close in results to my One Touch strips at a drastically lower cost. The only negative was the included lancets (as stated) do not fit my One Touch. But at the low price of the test strips I feel the needles were basically free.

These seem to provide reasonably consistent readings across a 250 point range - from 80-330. Accuracy seems to be within about 2%. They have been very helpful for tracking relationships between personal choices and test results. I find this way more helpful, and informative, than the daily testing protocol funded by insurance for 'pre-diabetic' tracking.
