Very impressed and satisfied
Wore my Gloryfire earbuds to the range for first time today. It’s an indoor range. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Gloryfire earbuds performed awesomely. I personally feel they outperformed the Peltor Sport Tactical 500 that I had been using. The Gloryfire buds were extremely comfortable, audio (speech) was clear. The size of the earbuds is just right for me. I used the small ear inserts. I like the fact that you can purchase additional ear inserts. Muting of the sharp loud noises was superb. The controls are straight forward and logical. The convenience of carrying and wearing the Gloryfire buds was well worth the cost paid. I am glad to have found the Gloryfire earbuds. The only question now is durability and only time and consistent use can determine how robust they are. So far I am extremely happy and satisfied with these safety earbuds.

Excellent but not audiophile
I shoot outdoors and at the range a lot and wanted something more comfortable than clunky but effective over ears. I was on the fence between this and the name brand Axil earbuds but went with this because of the higher reviews. I was surprised by how well this works. I used the medium tips and they were very comfortable even with my smaller ears. I've used both indoor and outdoor and they are extremely effective at silencing 9MM, .308 and 5.56 unsuppressed while being able to hear people talk. The bluetooth is an added bonus for me as I usually prefer situational awareness when shooting but when solo at the range it is nice to have. The sound quality for music is pretty bad but listenable though pass-through audio is extremely clear and I'm able to discern where the source of sounds come even at a distance. I have no idea how these compare to the Xcor but I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone looking for a less cumbersome ear pro

Great on demand hearing protection.
These things have worked really well out on the shooting range, on the plane, and right now on a bus ride for a work event. I have a friend that is shooting for competitions, we went shooting and they had these exact same ones. Battery life has been great. I used them for yard work just the other day and music I was playing came through great.

The future is here.
Purchased and used these on the rangers for two consecutive 12 hour days and they were awesome. Great ear protection, did not have any ringing in my ears and the music quality while being able to listen to music on the range was much better than I anticipated. Definitely worth the money. Also, great, especially if shooting rifles, getting quality ear protection, while being able to listen to music without a bulky headset which interferes with shouldering a rifle.

Worth it
Comfortable for hours. Works as intended. Worth the investment for me.I got these because I was having issues with standard ear muffs with a large-caliber rifle. These worked perfectly. I was hesitant at first because have small ear canals, and have had issues with foam inserts in the past. These fit well (multiple foam inserts included). The resulting hearing protection was better than I hoped. Definitely better than standard muffs for my purposes. I ended up staying at the range longer than expected and had them in for a couple hours without complaint. The only negative I've found is sound quality. I do not expect studio quality sound from ear protection. I only need to be able to hear commands from a Safety Officer and the beautiful DING of hitting a metal target. It did that most of the time. The problem was it amplify random background sounds at the exclusion of others. For example it would amplify distant vehicle noises while muting out the person talking next to me. I guess that will be an adjustment on my part, because they are now my primary hearing protection.

Why I returned this item.
I brought this but had to return it. I brought this for working with machinery to obtain noise protection and also to allow me to listen to music.Noise protection - I tried all three foam pieces supplied and was unable to obtain any protection. I even put in a special foam insert which I used in my much more expensive OTTO ear protection which has worked well for me for many years and it still did not work. A close look at the difference revealed that this item does not allow deep seating into the ear canal which explained why it does not work.Music - I was able to connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth with no problem, but although the music does come through to my right ear, no music comes through on the left ear despite both being on. So the Bluetooth is mono and not stereo which was a great disappointment.Since neither reason for this purchase was successful, I returned the item.

Gloryfire vs Axil Xcor, Gloryfire loses.
I was torn between these Gloryfire and the axil xcor and went with these as they had a hiring rating. I have not been impressed with them at all. I expected some hissing with the passthrough but it is loud. The sound quality of the passthrough is very poor, it does pass through or amplify the general noises but has a very difficult time with voices. I could not understand anyone that was around me and that was in a quiet environment. Also the fitment is poor. I tried all sizes of all the plugs and such and the only way I could get a seal was to use the largest and shove it painfully deep into the ear canal. Very uncomfortable. The quality of the plugs was below average as well as the foam on one pulled easily off the rubber tube on the inside. Lastly they didn't send the correct sizes of accessories. The "small" sizes had one small plug and one large plug instead of two small plugs. I then ordered the Axil Xcor and found that they were MUCH better than these in every way.
