Fantastic headphones with incredible sound
The B&W Px7 S2e headphones have beyond exceeded my expectations. I'm an open backed headphone person and previously eschewed closed back, noise-cancelling headphones due to the enclosed and claustrophobic feeling whilst wearing them, and also I require wired headphones to inter-operate with my stereo hi-fi system. However, I am about to re-enter higher education as a mature student and will be commuting on the train, and needed a pair of headphones that would not leak sound and disturb other passengers, nor have the music disturbed by the sounds of the engine and the track beneath us. I had heard good things about Bowers & Wilkins from a number of people whose appreciation of music I admire, and so quickly found the B&W Px7 S2e. These headphones have blown me away. Even in noise-cancelling mode, they do not feel claustrophobic. They're light, the build quality is exceptional and they seem extremely durable and well made, and they're extremely comfortable to wear. They have physical, easy-to-use buttons for manipulating the noise-cancelling and noise-passthrough capabilities of the device, volume, pausing/playing media and call handling, with all functions distributed between four buttons, three on one earpiece and a fourth on the other, for an intuitive, easy to remember system. I've been listening all night and they haven't required a recharge, although I have only owned them for one day so cannot say anything definitive, the battery life does indeed seem good. They charged quickly, and come with a USB-C charging cable that can be stored, when not in use, in a hidden compartment in the included hard-case. The earpieces are not large, indeed seem larger in the photographs than they do in real life, but comfortably cover my ears, and do not get hot and sweaty even after long periods of listening. But with the preamble out of the way, what do you really want to hear about? The Sound. And these headphones sound fantastic. The sound is stellar. Tonight I listened to 90s trance, 60s rock, and Paganini's piano and guitar works, and these headphones have a fantastic sound-stage, to the extent that I cannot believe they are closed-back and the noise-cancelling produces near silence. The sound-stage is not quite on par with open-backed headphones but is in no way cramped, the headphones are clear, there's no loss of clarity in any of the ranges of sound, and it is enjoyable to isolate particular instruments, melodies, or riffs of music with your ears as you listen. These headphones give an absolutely fantastic music listening experience, and for the price I paid (£200) they are beyond exceptional value, and really punch above their weight alongside headphones which are much, much more expensive. I have not tested the microphones and call quality, but I have watched some videos and some TV and film to test and the listening experience outside of music is also fantastic. Voices are clear, there is depth to sound-effects, and of course the music soundtracks are fantastic. All in all I would say these headphones perform their function in a first class manner.

Absolutely Fantastic.
So, I received a pair of these airphones to test and give my honest opinion. The Px7 S2e is a great option for anyone looking for a premium wireless listening experience. I used the earphones every day for like a week and they're not without their flaws.( In my opinion lol) Sound quality The Px7 S2e produce rich, detailed sound with a wide soundstage. The bass is deep and punchy without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are clear and crisp. The headphones also handle complex passages well, with good separation of instruments and vocals. Noise cancellation The Px7 S2e's noise cancellation is very effective, blocking out a wide range of ambient noise, including aeroplane noise, traffic noise, and office noise. They're not quite as good at blocking out voices as some other headphones, but they're still very good overall. Comfort and fit The Px7 S2e are very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. The ear cups are soft and plush, and the headband is well-padded. The headphones also have a light and airy design, so they don't feel too bulky or heavy on your head. Design and build quality The Px7 S2e are well-built and have a sleek, modern design. They're made of high-quality materials, including metal and leather. The headphones also fold up neatly for easy portability. Features The Px7 S2e have a number of useful features, including: Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with support for aptX Adaptive Active noise cancellation (ANC) Ambient sound mode (transparency mode) Wear sensor that automatically pauses music when you take the headphones off Dedicated buttons for controlling music playback, volume, and ANC Companion app for customizing the sound profile and other settings Battery life The Px7 S2e offer up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge with ANC turned off. With ANC turned on, you can expect around 25 hours of battery life. The headphones also support fast charging, so you can get up to 7 hours of playback from a 15-minute charge. Pros Excellent sound quality Effective noise cancellation Comfortable fit and design Good battery life Useful features Cons No spatial audio support Not as good at blocking out voices as some other headphones The companion app could be more user-friendly

Premium sound and comfort with solid noise cancelling
Really impressed with these headphones. Sound quality is rich and detailed, and they’re very comfortable to wear for long periods. Noise cancelling is good, battery life is excellent, and the Cloud Grey colour looks very clean and stylish. Not the cheapest, but you definitely get a premium experience so okay great value for money. Would recommend if sound quality is your top priority.

These headphones exceeded my expectations! They’re incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods without tiring the ears and are surprisingly lightweight. The bass is deep and powerful, the noise cancellation works beautifully, and the overall sound quality is excellent. Highly recommended for music lovers and anyone who values comfort and performance.

So pleased I discovered these! Exceeded my high expectations. Excellent fit and finish, awesome sound. Coming from Bose and was slightly concerned as reviews had suggested these had less low end bass compared to the Bose. Not the case. I find myself preferring 'commercial' sound like Bose and find audiophile stuff quite flat. Also don't want 50 settings for sound or the requirement to dial it in just to use the product. These are exceptional straight out of the box. You can still adjust bass and treble in the app should you want to. The main reason I chose these over Sony, Bose, Sonos etc was the USB-C charging and passthrough for wired lossless playback. This includes lossless playback from Apple devices (haven't tested others but I'm sure if Apple works they would as well). Only caveat is they need to be powered on. Power draw appears minimal (connect to USB after powering on). Buttons for volume and multifunction still work. Mic doesn't appear to work. Transparency and noise cancellation are more than adequate, but are not best in class. However, colors are and a welcome change to everything else on the market. My choice (green) is mature and understated, looks and feels very premium. Very comfortable, but haven't tested extended use yet. Weight is between Bose QC and Apple AirPods Max. One niggle is the included USB-C to USB-C cable came with discoloration/staining on the ends - pictured. Also comes with 3.5mm to USB-C which was not discolored. Works fine (cable is otherwise a decent quality soft plastic) but a bit disappointing from a QA/QC perspective.
