Not quite what I had expected
I ordered this hoping it would be a good way to exercise while watching tv in the evening or while at my desk crafting. While it does get you moving a little, I really don’t feel that “I’m” exercising, I just feel like I have my feet on a machine that is exercising. This is probably great for someone older as it does get your legs moving, but I’m not that old yet and hoped it would challenge me a little more. I’ve used it manually without turning it on and it does feel slightly better to me, but still not what I was expecting.I also was disappointed in the quality of this machine for the price point, I expected more than just plastic. I also find that it’s larger and heavy and not as easy to move around the house. If it was easier to move I’d probably use it more, but it’s too cumbersome to leave out in my living room so after I put it away I tend to not get it out again at night.I had really wanted to love this.

It helps
The media could not be loaded. I have a 84 years old mom that needs physical therapy and the Machine is helping her very much!!

An unusual way to keep your feet moving that doesn't seem like exercise
Product Description posted on Amazon: JISUO brand "Under Desk Elliptical Machine, Ellipse Leg Exerciser for Seniors Fully Assembled, Portable & Quiet Electric Seated Pedal Exerciser with Remote Control & 12 Adjustable Speeds"All external surfaces on this supposed "leg exerciser for seniors" are completely made of plastic. This makes the device fairly lightweight and portable, but it also makes it easier to break. At $99.99 (the price at the time this review was written) one would reasonably expect the outer casing to be metal, but it's not. In fact, this plastic outer shell doesn't seem to be particularly heavy-duty, so I wonder what its longevity will be. Since I just started using this machine, however, I don't know how long it's going to last.I have noticed it bucks sometimes when I don't relax my legs enough to move in perfect sync with the elliptical machine's pedal speed. It is VERY quiet (unless I get out of sync with it).Note, however, that with a little effort the pedals will stop while the machine is running but the motor continues to try to get them moving again. This lack of an "auto stop" feature causes me to wonder if the motor might overheat or seize up and/or the gears that connect the motor to the pedals might strip out when the machine is unable to move the pedals? It also comes fully assembled, so there's no set up time required...just read the instruction pamphlet, put it in a suitable position, and off you go!I suppose this may help a sedate elderly person avoid blood clotting in the legs, but I'm not a physician. I can tell you that it doesn't feel like exercise while you are using this "pedal exerciser". I've never had one before, but I'll use this under my computer desk and perhaps I'll get used to it moving my feet around with no help from me? 3 stars

Not an exerciser
The media could not be loaded. This is advertised as an exerciser for seniors, and I could see it being useful to some seniors who get very limited movement. Maybe for just getting some motion in your legs, it might be helpful. But this isn't an elliptical exerciser. It doesn't provide resistance, and you're not working to make the pedals move. Instead, they move all by themselves. To see what I mean, have a look at the video I added here.So yes, it will put some motion in your legs, but it isn't an exerciser. The description says you can get exercise by unplugging it and using it that way. But if I realized that was _required_ to get exercise from it, I would have skipped it completely. We have a treadmill downstairs, and this "elliptical" takes up a decent amount of space, whether under a desk or here in a living room, where I intended to use it.I gave it two stars (rather than the lowest rating), only because I can see a few truly elderly people (I'm not there just yet!) who might benefit from this easy way to move their legs, rather than being completely still. One last note, in case you do get this: the instructions say to unplug it after you use it. If it's not safe being left plugged in, well, be careful about that!

Very convenient to use
Easy to use, its a little heavy but way less heavy than a full size excercize machine. I got this for my mom who has bad knees so she could be active. She said she has loved using it because she can do it in her own home while watching tv and she can decide how strenuous of an excercize she wants.

Maybe Yes .. Maybe No
So .. here's the scuttlebutt. The mechanics seem to work great and I enjoy pedaling along anytime I want to do so, so I think this is a great little exerciser anyone should have in their home or home office. But there are several draw backs that I do NOT like. I wouldn't say it's terribly portable, as the plastic is "sharp" making it and the weight combination unpleasant to move about. The cord is too short, but probably a standard length, but I don't like trailing cords so having to add an extension to it is annoying and makes it impossible to use at my desk as it comes. The most negative for me is the foot pedals and strapping. The straps are super cheap Velcro .. just awful and I cannot tighten to my size. So I pedal barefoot with my feet slid to the back of the peddle, where I seem to find the arch support. At this location I'm not even near the strapping. And if I'm near the strapping, my toes hang off the front. Having never used an appliance like this, I have nothing to compare it to .. so while I don't sound positive, I don't want to say don't try this one because it does peddle smoothly and gives you what you are looking for on the exercise front. So, like my headline says, Maybe Yes .. Maybe No.
