Unique and cheaper.
This is a direct competitor to the Yukon or Canyon from solo. I have used it several times and like it very much. Was considerably cheaper at the time of purchase. The steel has changed color (purplish orange hues) due to oxide tinting but it makes the fire pit look cooler. Smoke is non-existent once the fire gets going. I also purchased the cover which is very durable and well-made as is the separately purchased metal lid. They are pricey but very necessary to preserve the pit. My only gripe is it does not come with a mesh steel lid to prevent embers from popping out. I found a round one that fit on top and Works. Comes with a forked poker that is useful for moving your burning logs. The removable steel fire base inside allows for easy cleanup with a heavy duty steel ring in the center to lift it out. Keep your pit dry and slightly elevated off the ground and it could last for years. Overall a great choice for those that want a larger, attractive looking pit

Nearly Perfect Fire Pit
They've come a long way since the days of sawing down an old metal barrel and poking a few holes in the sides. Technology is a wonderful thing. We got the East Oak 29" stainless steel fire pit. It is big but still fits on our 22 foot long deck with plenty of space to put chairs around it and still be able to comfortably get in the hot tub. The big size is good because you don't have to get too particular with length of wood. Kindling and paper starts easily and once it gets going, you can burn pretty much any kind of wood except large, unsplit logs. Strategically placed vent holes in the bottom and sides draws air in from below and supercharges the burn. The flame height can be intimidating, but the ring at the top guides the flames back into the middle and away from you. It gets very, very hot. Don't lean over the pit or put your hand anywhere near the inner area when you are refilling. There's a long, two, pronged metal thingy that makes it easier to position the wood when it's burning. It also can be used to move the fire pit when not in use and to hook the round inner burn plate so you can lift it out and dispose of the ashes. I would like to see something smarter than a single eyelet in the center of the burn plate because lifting it out with two prongs is somewhat of a balancing act. We got the vinyl cover and the metal lid and both work well at keeping this pricey unit sheltered from the elements. Actually, the price isn't bad at $235 but the metal cover is not worth $79, especially when it doesn't have a handle. I would like to see the whole package offered at $299. Aside from that, this is an amazing device that creates big, impressive flames, burns anything from old to green wood and kicks off nice heat.

Good product.
The fit is perfect, it's made of durable material, but the sun beat it down to where the webbing material securing the handle on top degraded and fell off.

Works as expected
Like the fact it has metal braces to keep form on top and keep water from pooling. Also nice think vinyl material

Side heat
Love that it gives heat off to the sides and not just straight up. Very good quality after 3-4 uses.

Puts out some heat
Last night was our first use, it works great, a bit of smoke until the fire is burning good, but did not blow towards us. It does not take much wood and then you can feel the heat all around the pit, it burns the wood completely up. This is exactly what I wanted, it looks really pretty lit up, I will take some pictures upon tonights use. We have a covered deck that we put it on, so caution, it does heat above too, we solved this issue by putting metal above the stove to cover the wood frame of the deck. I used a 24 x 24 stone to put under the pit as it sits on wood. I would never leave it unattended on any wooden surface, so just know that going in to buying a smokeless fire pit. I think overall this was a great purchase..

Cover isn’t that great
The cover looks good and is made of a high quality fabric. But it fills with water instantly which isn’t a problem but could be more ridged
