We use this in our Rivian for security camera storage - without it we'd get very little archived video. Can confirm this works great for that application - as well as easy hookup to USB-C Mac for initial erase/format. Not sure about the rated speed but its plenty fast for an external drive at its price, and the small size is great too. I gave tech support 5 stars but in truth haven't needed to contact anyone...

This external SSD does what it says and works fine (though I admittedly didn't test their speed claims). I was able to write and read data to it with no issues. The wire has a USB-C connection at both ends and I was able to use it from both my computer and Samsung Galaxy phone.My only complaint is that it feels very cheap. This drive is a bit smaller than the size of a credit card and a little over 1/2 inch thick, but it weighs almost nothing. I suppose some may like that it weighs so little, but I ordered this for use traveling as shooting 4K video can fill my memory cards quickly, but I'm not confident it'll last through many trips. It feels like the thing is made of a single layer of plastic, with absolutely no metal except for what is needed for the internal chips.If you're looking for an SSD for home use, this will work fine, but if you intend to travel with it or otherwise carry it a lot, you might want to consider a different one.

This thing is garbage. I used it once and it seemed great.Now everytime I try to use it I get an error saying the disc wasn't ejected properly.I am unable to do ANYTHING with it! I can't even copy files from it.I ge the same error even when trying to read files on the drive (SSD).I liked the size and portability of it. But it is completely unreliable!DO NOT TRUST IT WITH ANYTHING!!!I would call it a paper weight but it's too light to be a paper weight.

This SSD is beautifully designed as well as having a large capacity, 4 TB, and at a very reasonable price. This is a great drive as a back up and portability allows you to fit it in your pocket.

As far as this is for storing data, it's decent. You can transfer data to this pretty quickly. It's super small and easy to carry with you. The case is super cheap plastic though, I like that there's a plug for the ports, it says it's water proof, but I don't really want to test that part out, haha. As far as the portable already cased ssds go, this is about the average going price for them. Other than the cheap plastic case, I'm happy with this hard drive.

性能が優れていて気になっていましたが見た目がちょっと変だと感じ迷っていましたがタイムセールで安くなっていたので思い切って購入しました。届いた現物を見ると思ったよりカッコ良かったです。PCのSSD容量が減ってきた為Steamのゲームを移動して見ました。とても速く移動出来ました。ゲームを起動して遊んでみましたが遅延やカクつきもなく快適に遊ぶ事が出来ました。使用中発熱はほとんど気になりませんでした(30℃前後)。後は長く使える事を祈ります。

1TBの商品を11,535円で購入しました。exFATアロケーション64Kでフォーマットして、 試しに、1.36GBの動画ファイルをコピーしたところ、364MB/sのスピードであっという間に書き込みができました。なお、データ転送速度が450MB/sくらいしか出てませんが、これは私のパソコンのUSBインターフェイスがUSB3.0(規格上671MB/s以上の速度は出せない)だからです。あとは、読み込み書き込みエラーとかデータ破壊欠損とか出るかどうかは使い続けてみないと未知数です。なお中身はPhison PS2251 18-43 が入っていて、基盤背面にはサーマルパッドが貼ってありました(※分解は自己責任で保証対象外になりますので注意してくださいね)////////////////////////////////////////////////////////※2024/7/29追記１：私のパソコンはIntel B460MのマザーボードでPCI-EXPRESS x1スロットが一つ空いていてPCI Express リビジョン3.0なので転送スピードは規格上限1GB/sまで出ます。なので、「VENEKA PCI-E 1X から Type-E + Type-C 拡張カード USB3.2 GEN2 10Gbps 3142 チップ PCI-E から USB-C へのアダプター デスクトップ用」を取り付けてType-Cのケーブルで繋いで、速度計測したところ約871MB/sの速度が出ました。試しに1.36GBの動画ファイルをコピーしたところ、613MB/sのスピードであっという間に書き込みができました。///////////////////////////////////////////////////※2024/08/21追記２：温度を測定してみました。NVM Expressなので温度は63℃と高めで少し気になります。

SSDなのでとても小さく、手のひら位のサイズでとても軽い。USBフラッシュメモリーと同じような感覚で使用できます（流石にそれほど小さくはないですが）CtoCとAtoCの二種類付属しています。私の環境ではAtoCを使用しました。steamのインストール済みゲームをこちらの製品に移動させプレイするということを試してみました。試してみたのはモンスターハンターワールドです。51GB程のソフトが10分位でこちらの商品に移動しました。このゲームは常にオンライン状態なのですが、この外付けSSDを使ってもかくつくことなく、ボイスの乱れも起きずにプレイできました。
