I loved this product. It was very easy to use and versatile too. I added little gold accents randomly through my decor to gently tie everything together. A perfect little kit.

Good amount of gold and glue to learn with for the money I recommend and will buy again

This product was terrible. Do not buy. I used a substantial amount of gold leaf for a large canvas and used this varnish. The varnish caused my expensive gold leaf to turn a dark and dull antique gold color instead of bright gold. If you love to waste expensive gold leaf, then this product is for you. I wish I could give it 0 stars. Terrible product. It does exactly what it says it will not do, oxidize the gold leaf. It's garbage.

I am guilding this Buddha with 24 kt gold sheets. It took sometime to restore the statue, and I bought gold sheets via Amazon in China. The glue in this case works perfectly. The only 'but' is, that the translation of the text on the bottle and the box, is not good and contradictory. By practising I advise users to add only 10% of water to the glue, wait 30 minutes and then start working with the sheets. Afterwards when you got the hang of it, you can dilute the glue with 20% water. Dismiss all other advices on the bottle and box. The glue works as promised, and any amateur can work with it. The two brushes are good enough (clean them under warm water with some detergent after use) and you can practice on several objects with the added fun sheets, before working with real gold or silver. And yes, I will buy this product again. It is worth every single €.

Gold leaf is a very finicky product but this package came with everything I needed. I didn’t realize it was 50% silver and 50% gold, so I ended up ordering additional gold sheets from the same company. The new sheets were larger than the original. Same colour and quality, and very reasonable price. Would recommend, but you might need additional sheets for your project!
