TEKWARE Ultra Large Viewing Screen True Color Solar Power Auto Darkening Welding Helmet This is a very nice welding helmet. I call them welding hoods most of the time. Anyway i searched around for a good helmet at a reasonable price but still wanted good eye protection very important to me. I chose this one, but wasn't to crazy about the double banded head band, i never had a head band like this before. But i bought this hood anyway. When i first got it it didn't flip up and down right on my head. I was thinking dang new double banded head gear. But... i discovered quite quickly the headband was installed wrong. All the washers, clips and stops were upside down or something to that effect. So i took the entire headband gear off helmet, looked at owners manual that has the break down of several models and found mine and put it together per instructions. Through a couple of trial head fits to flip hood up an down on my head i got it just right. Fits good and flips real good. Now this might be tricky because there is quite a few components for the headgear to flip correctly. Especially the stop unit to limit the amount the hood flips up, flips down and and there is a adjustment to change the distance the hood sits to your face, nose. And that stop thing component that goes with all the washer thumb screws on side of helmet has a small catch noob that lets you push helmet back up one more click so helmet doesn't fall down to weld position when your walking. Pay attention there are little square cut outs to line up headgear components through welding hood, not real easy because helmet is made of light weight plastic like material. Great helmet, get your headgear assembled correctly and it works better than any other helmet i have used. I like the double banded design now.

Economic welding helmet, I feel its the best bang for the buck. Fits well but has lots of adjustment, has an upper limit holder so it doesn't fall back down without a good nod of your head. Has weld, grind modes inside. Works very well

Haven't tried it out yet, but the overall construction and quality of the parts look top notch, headband is very comfortable and very adjustable, not as light as a miller elite, but it seems lighter than the optrel satellite, although if you're a weak neck ninny, you should find another career than welding. So far, worth every penny. I will add more info once I've tried it out at work.

Good inexpensive welding helmet. Works good as expected. Nice field of vision with the wide lens. Only complaint is the head strap. The tightener for the circumference failed after the first use. It is indeed very cheaply made. I replaced the head strap with one that was in an older helmet I no longer used. the auto darkening works great, and one has multiple setting to customize the lens to what is best suited for your needs. If you purchase this helmet, then go ahead and purchase a head strap to go with it.

J'adore!
