I bought this for the baby's room, thinking it would help her settle at night. Now all of my family members want one. It comes with 13 different discs so you get a wide variety of cosmic scenes to look at. It's very easy to change them out. I really like that the discs come in a little case so you don't loose them (not easily anyways). It has a timer so you can have it turn off after 1 or 2 hours. It tilts and moves around so you can find the perfect spot on your ceiling. Honestly, it's super cool whether you're 9 months old or 38. Another thing I like about it is that the projections aren't animated or CG. They look real.

This planetarium projector is really nice and easy to use. The star and galaxy images look clear and relaxing on the ceiling. I love that it comes with many different scenes, so it doesn’t get boring. It’s quiet, has a timer, and creates a cozy atmosphere. Great for relaxing, sleeping, or decorating the room.

Considering the cost, this little projector is a powerhouse. Pros: * light weight * reallt clear image when set the suggested 6' away * multiple discs for different views * gorgeous default image of moon, Milky Way, Amdromeda and an asteroid * bright enough to serve as a night light for young kids * not bright enough to disturb sleep * cost vs value feels excellent * option to stop image rotation * 1 hour, 2 hour and 4 hour (default) auto-shutoff timer Cons: * power cable felt a little short so I used a longer one * image gets a little distorted and stretched in a far corner (but may be an error with placement) * no option to stay on without a timer Overall, I expected a star projector that was far more cheesy, but this little thing really has been impressive.

Very cool projector that comes with alot of different visuals to use. My only complaint is that I wish the rotation speed was faster as movement is hardly noticeable on the highest setting other wise happy with the purchase.

I love space and the reviews for this sold me on it. Im not disappointed at this price but all of the slides aren't great. The moon / milkyway slide is the best in my opinion and with the subtle rotation its almost like youre in space. Very cool. Id give 5 stars if it offered more slides to purchase outside of the ones it comes with.

Very basic - image blurry and low resolution. I think it would be fine for kids - but not for adults. Mine does rotate - i see one review where it did theres does not. The search continues for a decent one - didn't think it would be hard to get one now a-days.

Perfect to put the kids to bed at night

I got this planetarium projector as a birthday gift for my daughter. At first, we were really excited and impressed—it looked great and worked nicely for the first use. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last. After just one use, the projector completely stopped working. It won’t even turn on now. Even before it failed, it started making a strange whirring noise, which was concerning and made it feel unsafe to use. I’m incredibly disappointed. This ended up being a total waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially as a gift for kids.
