good quality stuff ......nice looking and give a good starry effect....kids will like it....i bought an imitation first then i stumbled on the original product.......

When I got this product, it wasn't as bright as I initially expected it to be. The red stars would come on by the blue and green gave trouble. However, the few times it came on right, my 1 year old loved it. So I asked the seller to give me a replacement. He was very prompt and during our call he mentioned if I'd checked the batteries. Since the ladybug comes with batteries installed, this hadn't crossed my mind. I checked them and realized that the batteries were weak. Once I replaced them, the product worked perfectly. Bed time has become great as I point out all the stars and constellations to my little one who is usually mesmerized. I love it. Its a brilliant concept. The ladybug is soft and my baby can cuddle it and even throw it around without me worrying about damage. Our favorite are the blue and green stars. i'm only reducing one star for the weak batteries. Otherwise this would have got a 5.

I debated about getting this "toy" for over a year. So glad I did, and will be getting another one once my 2nd son is a bit older. It really is the perfect thing to put in a child's room for naps and bedtimes. I got the Ladybug based on other reviews saying it was a newer model then the turtle. I have no idea if the turtle is as good, but from what some reviews said the Turtle has a yellow setting which I guess you can't see reflected on the walls. This ladybug has red, green and blue. There is an option for rotating through each color, and that one is my favorite. The red is a lower light level and would be best for if you are wanting a "night light" that wont over light the room. The stars show up, but are dimmer in appearance. The green and blue settings are brightest, but I find that the ladybug itself is also brighter, too bright for me to want as a night light in my son's room. The alternating is great because it doesn't stay on either color that long. It puts starts all over the room, not just on the ceiling. I also love that it automatically turns off after 45 min. There is no option to keep it on longer. But for me, I like that. I don't want it going all night. Hope this review helps!!

Está muy bien hecha y crea un ambiente muy especial en la habitación que a los niños (y a nosotros) les encanta, y a los adultos nos permite ver lo suficiente para meter a los niños en la cama, taparlos, etc, para luego apagarse sola a los 40 min aprox. Mi hijo a veces quiere dormir con ella o se la trae a nuestra cama cuando nos viene a ver, trasladando así la magia a nuestro dormitorio. En ocasiones nos sentamos todos con ella en el salón a oscuras para buscar las constelaciones. A nosotros nos la regalaron, y desde que la descubrimos yo también se la regalo a mis amigos con niños.

Abbiamo ricevuto in dono questa coccinella alla nascita di nostra figlia, 4 anni fa. Ora l'abbiamo comprata per regalarla ad un nuovo nato perchè è un oggetto meraviglioso; morbidissimo e resistente, illumina la stanza in maniera molto delicata e confortevole disegnando un cielo stellato sul soffitto. Nostra figlia la ama alla follia e la coccinella ci segue in ogni spostamento - dai nonni, in vacanza, ovunque. Unica piccola pecca: le pile che la alimentano si esauriscono abbastanza velocemente: consigliamo di utilizzare pile ricaricabili. Consegna impeccabile, tempi rapidi.

I couldn't be happier with this. I bought it for a baby with some sight problems, because I was looking for something to stimulate his vision, with strong contrasting colours but without overstimulating sounds. This met that requirement perfectly, and had surprising multi-purpose uses for a household that also includes a toddler. At night it sheds a pleasing, not-too-harsh light around a room in its three set colour options of red and black (the strongest), or blue, or purple. The star-shaped holes in the ladybird's plastic back reflect entrancing stars onto any surface they can reach. The baby loves the red and black, and the toddler loves the purple, so it's been in demand as a nightlight at different times of the evening, from day one. During the day it's alternately a sight-stimulus for the baby, held right up close to touch and look at, reflecting the stars onto Mum's face and clothes. It's tactile, too: the back is hard plastic but the limbs and head are soft to touch. When not in use as a teaching tool, it's a toy for the toddler who loves pressing the buttons that change its colour; literally, everyone's happy. It is fair to agree with the reviewers who point out that the light isn't really strong enough to put stars clearly on very high ceilings. But still, I'm pretty confident that no one who's seen this lovely nightlight in action much cares. It isn't cheap but for me it was worth every penny to give such a useful and lovely gift.
