JIMEIDA Black Double Switched Power Socket 5 Pack 13 Amp with USB-A And Type-C Charging Ports ....This is a pack of 5 UK 3-pin double sockets with an integral USB power supply. They come boxed but unfortunately there are no instructions or specifications included and so the only specification for the USB sockets is what can be found in the listing or the simple sticker on the back.The switches are dual ganged, in that they switch both live and neutral wiring with a solid feel to their action. This is the first type I have had that incorporate USB-C as well as USB-A, which is great as most cables I have are now USB-C. These do not have a PD (Power Delivery) function though and are limited to the 5V and the listed current (3.1amps shared).The quality of the socket is quite good, a bit light but there is a metal shield around the front which is earthed. The front panel is plastic (PC, which I assume is Polycarbonate), but has a black matt metallic look which is quite nice. Although the connections at the rear are marked, it can be a little difficult to see which is which, so have a look in a good strong light before fitting. Also note that due to them having the built-in USB power supply, these are quite deep and require a deeper back box than a normal twin socket would.I quite like these sockets, they are marked as BS1363 compliant, easy to fit, have USB-A and C power and look very smart. Not bad for just over £10 per double socket.

Absolute rubbish ,I bought 2 and both of them when you plug in the C to C cable it would charge a few minutes then stop then start charging and stop ,the electrician says nothing he can do .for the price I’m really disappointed

JIMEIDA Black Double Switched Power Socket 5 PackYour receive a pack of 5 double wall sockets, each are individually wrapped in a soft material bag. The sockets I received were black in colour, although other colours are available. The sockets consist of a wall socket assembly, front cover plate and 2 screws each.Not only do you have 2 x 13 amp sockets, between the sockets are 2 x charging ports which are USB Type-A, along with USB Type-C. As is usual, there are no back boxes supplied, but the size is standard so these should fit into existing back boxes. The front cover on these does not have 2 screw holes, instead the socket is attached by the 2 supplied screws, with the front cover snapping on over the top giving a clean appearance.The build quality does appear to be on par with other similarly priced wall sockets, with the switches giving a positive click, although the power socket does feel a little lightweight. The cable connectors on the rear are a little vaguely marked, it's not easy to read and identify which are live, negative, and earth. In low light whilst wiring these up it could be quite easy to make a mistake.Overall though these are on par with similar products. Once in place they will give a clean and modern finish to any room. I'm not up with the latest regulations, but the only British standard mark I can find on these is: BS1363.CONTENTS:5 x Wall SocketsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

A very disappointing socket. The USB ports do not work. I’ve fitted ten of these sockets and not one of the USB ports work. For that reason I cannot recommend these. I would return them but I can’t be arsed with taking them out and replacing them.
