VILTROX EF-NEX IV Lens Mount Adapter Ring for Canon EF/EF-S Lenses to Sony E-Mount Cameras, Supports AF, Aperture Control, USB Firmware Update

I was very scared about this Adapter whether it will work or not. Sigma MC-11 was 21k and this Viltrox was 7k. Instead of buying expensive lenses I decided to burn my money. I thought that in worst case , even if it won’t work , I will use it on manual mode. So I ordered this Viltrox adapter and immediately tried on 50mm f1.8. It worked with Autofocus in Contrast Detection mode as well as Phase Detection mode. I was very happy. Then i tried on Canon 85mm f1.8, Canon 10-18mm, Canon 25-105 F4. Autofocus worked as expected. Super happy. I saved lots of money without buying Sony Lenses. Buy this adapter if you want to use Canon lenses on Sony.

Canon 50mm auto focus , wrost quality .

I researched and decided to give viltrox NEX IV a go before i opt for Sigma. The adapter arrived on time.. First I tried to use a 50mm f/1.8 over it with A7s II and it was disappointing.. It never could focus.. Not once.. Then i put my EF 18-135mm and it nailed focus really fast and accurately more than 90% of the time and it was enough.. Then i updated the firmware and boom! 50mm started working too.. It wasn't as fast and accurate as the 18-135 and other lenses but that's more than what you can expect from a adapter at this price.. Really happy with it and would update the review if i faced any problem after more tests.

Works very well on 50mm and 85mm lenses but on Heavy Lenses mount contact keep on disconnecting..

Auto focus not working properly while shoot video... its very disappointing

This is great product if you want to use your old Canon EF lens on Sony alpha mirror-less camera. It works very well for most of my lens except 70-200 f2.8 IS but with rest of the lenses, it work very smooth. Eye focus and auto focus works without any issue.

Doesn't work on my A7iii and canon 135mm f2 lens. Doesn't recognise the lens at all, so can't even use manually. Looking for firmware update, but viltrox site download link is dead. I am stuck with a dead product.
