The Best Source
No better source to learn about Warre hives than from Warre himself! This book covers all the bases with everything you need to know about constructing a Warre hive, the benefits of this kind of hive compared to others, how to maintain the Warre hive (a big reason to want a Warre hive - let bees be bees and the humans collect and enjoy the honey when the time is right, without much disturbance to the bees), type of equipment to work with bees, the best plants to attract bees and make them productive, how to harvest honey, as well as any diseases to look out for with descriptions.

Great book
Very good book if you are interested in this design of hive. Some of the information is of course very dated, but still interesting.

Good for bees
This book explains how to build a hive (with plans) and how to keep bees. It is a natural beekeeping book that is healthier for the colony than modern traditional hives. If you want bees but are worried about the time commitment, read this book fist and then get out and save the world by giving a colony a home!

The Best
This is THE seminal work on beekeeping with the Warre hive, from the horse's mouth himself. Many people write about Warre hives, but Warre said it best himself.Simple, easy to follow, easy to memorize, and best of all, it is bee friendly, and the Warre hive is easy on your pocketbook..You do not need to read many books on beekeeping, but you do need to read the good ones, and this one is one of the best.
