This magnifying glass is perfect for elderly people.

Wasn't real sure which magnifying strength to purchase. I have a small 5x glass, but it wasn't strong enough. This glass is 10x; exactly what I needed to read small print comfortably. It's large enough to be able to read a larger area without having to move the magnifying glass too much. Other brands (so many!) had small LED lights but were not adjustable, nor could they be turned off. So decided one without LEDs was better suited to my needs. It's a bit heavier than expected; might get tiring to hold for any length of time. But, to give you an idea (in comparison), it's not as heavy as an empty glass measuring cup, if that helps. The build quality is great; the handle is comfortable to hold. I gave this 10x Magnifying Glass 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. The only thing I would add is maybe a cloth pouch to store it in. But the product box it came in will have to suffice. Would recommend.
