Transformers Toys Studio Series Deluxe One 114 Megatron, 4.5-inch Converting Action Figure, 8+

This was my second purchase of the Transformers Toys Studio Series Deluxe lineup. This purchase was Megatron and the prior purchase was Optimus Prime. Both purchases were for my 11-year-old son. Purchase price of popular toys can vary drastically from seller to seller within Amazon. This figure was $20 more than the first purchase. Both toys are from the same manufacturer series but different Amazon sellers. Regardless the end user (my 11-year-old) was thrilled. The toy does come with picture book instructions to transform, etc, so the disclaimer that it is intended for kids 8+ is accurate. It does also come with small parts which are a choking hazard for smaller children. Given the instructions, parts, and detail this toy is definitely intended for older children that have the patience to read and follow instructions. The toy figure is well detailed, and the plastic is sturdy. The hinges and joints move freely. The injection molding for the parts is good quality. The packaging is colorful, well-illustrated, and sturdy. If you open the packaging without ripping or tearing, etc. the toy can be stored in the packaging which it appears it was intended to be used for. I have shopped for similar 4.5-inch figures from different manufacturers at the big box retailers as well. Hasbro manufactures different versions of the 4.5-inch figures at different price points. So, buyer beware, the Hasbro Optimus Prime at lesser price points in the store is remarkedly different than this one. Walmart advertises the Studio Series Deluxe Transformers in the $50 range which are only available online. The lesser price point version is available in store. If you gauge the child thrill factor upon receipt, Transformers Studio Series Deluxe is the way to go and worth the extra money. Kids have a funny way of knowing the difference between the deluxe version and the standard version.

This figure is very faithful to the movie. Very detailed. Excellent articulation and posing. The transformation is simple yet satisfying and accurate. No complaints.

Our son loved it! He's had it on his wishlist for a while. Not super easy to transform, but super cool!

Transformation is a bit annoying, but otherwise it’s a good figure and a great representation of Megatron from TF: One. Details are pretty crazy for a mainline (non-MP) figure. Articulation in the legs, knees, arms, wrists, and head. Ankle tilt is there. Elbow can make a full bend from forearm to shoulder. Definitely recommend.

This is an awesome version of Megatron and I'm glad they went this route with him. Only problem is that he's only deluxe-sized. He would greatly benefit from being a Voyager with a different canon maybe. But overall, awesome.

Great transformer. It is packaged well and arrived on time.

I enjoy this toy and is a wonderful addition to my Transformer collection.

Great toy I always think these things are overpriced but the kiddo loves it good quality and hes super happy !

Well built, easy to transform with instructions (can also find youtube videos for it as well). It always amazes me how they engineer Transformers products to look just like the animated versions both in robot and vehicle form. This toy delivers and its really fun to play with and enjoyable to look at. I also purchased the Optimus studio series and that is also well built too.
