Helpful for wet basements
Works wonderfully. Great value for our house, auto shuts off when the basket is full and needs to be dumped. Nice and compact size. Quiet.

Outstanding Design - Effective - Quiet :)
Outstanding Craftsmanship & Engineering! By far, most QUIET dehumidifier have experienced. Removes 1/2 - 1 gallon water / day in small bedroom and hallway area, regardless of temperature (many other brands do not work well in cooler <65F environments). Simple to use. Relatively light weight for effectiveness of unit vs. other 80 Pint units. Easy to empty water collector. Ya, this is THE One! :)

Great Dehumidifier with stellar energy savings
So I was looking to get a new dehumidifier for my basement as the current Hisense dehumidifier that came with the house that was built in the 1950s when we bought it was running quite a bit and was an energy hog using 540 watts when running with an average of 10.5 kWh per day. So I did a ton of research and came across this dehumidifier. As I was looking at the reviews and looking at the power specs I was thinking there's now way that this little thing that uses hard the electricity that my current dehumidifier uses is going to effectively dehumidifie my basement effectively and not just run constantly and end up using around the same amount of electricity. So after reading the reviews and being comforted by the warranty I decided to use my credit card rewards and bought the Aeocky dehumidifier and to say I was impressed with the results is an understatement. It was well packaged and the instructions and quick start guide were very good but there were some linguistic issues but that wasn't surprising considering this is a Chinese product. I start off by setting the RH% to 40% as i had with my previous dehumidifier but that was basically like setting it to continuous mode. It could net get the humidity below 47% but even when it was raining it didn't get above 50%. Despite it using only 280 watts when running i was surprised at how effective it was at keeping a modest humidity and only used 6kWh per day running 24/7. So I decided to run it on automatic mode which keeps the humidity between 50-55% which is a little higher than I wanted but now it wasn't running all the time. After running it I auto mode for a week it's been doing a fantastic job at keeping the humidity level down and it's only using 4kWh per day on average! Plus it's super quite. As you can hear in the video the loudest thing is the fan running, you can't even hear the compressor running at all. The one issue is the tank is super small and only holds about a gallon so using the continuous drain feature is pretty much required to use this unless you are able to dump it out multiple times a day depending on how humid your space is. As you can see in have it draining into the basement sink and I put the garden house attachment on to put a little bit of weight on the end so it wouldn't curl up. Would absolutely recommend this dehumidifier just on the electricity savings alone!

Product worked great - but, only for less than 3 months (Now has been addressed by customer service)
**An Update to the Original Review** I submitted a Customer Support request on the manufacturer's website. To my great pleasant surprise, received a response from a representative (Amanda) in less than 24 hours. After a brief review of our issue with the product, and after one e-mail exchange, Amanda arranged for a free replacement unit for us. Received the new unit couple of days ago. Their customer service is amazingly prompt and good ... a rarity these days! Hopefully, our original unit was just a one-off bad piece. And truly hoping this new replacement unit functions per its design for a long time. Again, have to give them a 5-Star for their customer service. *********************************************** Bought this product in early April 2025. It worked wonderfully for about 3 months (out of which we were away two times for several days each where it wasn't really being used). When it worked, we could actually feel the drop in humidity inside the house. The unit is very easy to use and is remarkably quiet! However, for the past few days, the unit is running but is not collecting any water. The bucket is actually bone dry! And, more importantly, we can feel the increased humidity. Especially since it has been raining almost daily. I have submitted an inquiry on the manufacturer's website. Hopefully, they will help us resolve the issue.

Top Brand Works Great
Plug and go. Easy to install. Used the included tubing which is a good design being clear, to see if water is draining. Much quieter than my defunct Frigidaire that I had for many years. My basement started at 60% humidity. Within two days the humidity was down to 50%. Now after several days the humidity is down to 45%. I couldn’t be happier as everything was getting moist in my basement with the old not working. Controls are easy. The size is smaller than my old one which is a nice attribute. I hope I get longevity out of this brand as it is the first time I’ve seen this name. I did much research and this unit came out on top. Price is reasonable compared to others at the top of the list. So far, I would definitely recommend. Fingers crossed on durability.

You can stop comparison shopping. This is the model you want.
I bought the AEOCKY 52 Pint per day Smart Compressor Dehumidifier to replace a GE-branded workhorse that has been plugging along in my basement for years. In point of fact, I always run two dehumidifiers in my partially finished basement - one on the finished side and one on the unfinished / laundry room side. For the past 8-10 years, I've had GEs in both rooms. Prior to that, I had Frigidaires (twice, with each pair providing trouble-free service). The big name brands have served me well. They have all lasted 8-10 years and have required only intermittent filter cleaning to keep them humming along mostly problem-free. So, when one of my current GE models died, I can honestly say that I was reluctant to replace it with anything but a name-brand appliance. After all, the big names have been kind to me. But, after HOURS of comparative research, I decided to take a chance on this model from AEOCKY. I am more than impressed with the performance of this dehumidifier. Historically, with each of my name-brand models, I could not set the machine below 55% humidity. To do so was the equivalent of turning the devices onto continuous operation - they never shut off. But 55% was the sweet spot - across two brands and three different models, this fact held true - the humidity level dropped to tolerable and the appliances ran about 40% of the day. Enter the AEOCKY... When I first plugged it in, the humidity sensor reported that the finished side of my basement had a balmy 73% humidity level. Within minutes, that percentage began dropping. After it had fallen 10% in 20 minutes, I opened the collection bin to examine the moisture collection because I couldn't believe what the machine was reporting. But the bin was BONE DRY?!? Perhaps I was running into the problem that some of the other reviewers complained of - the less-than-accurate humidity sensor? But, a few hours later, the reported humidity level had settled into the mid 50s and the bin had a moderate amount of water (which I dumped). Overnight, the bin again collected a reasonable amount of water (though it did not collect enough to initiate an auto shut-off). i believe (though I cannot definitively recall) that I had set the humidity level to the standard 55% at this time. So, I decided to play with the settings a bit. I tried 50%. It got there. AND IT SHUT OFF. Not for long, but it shut off. I tried 45%. Same results. So, I tried the "automatic" setting (I believe it maintains a humidity between 45% - 55%). AMAZING! Zero need to mess with this thing. The room is obviously less humid and more comfortable. Once I got the AEOCKY dialed in, I connected the included drain line to circumvent the need to dump the bucket. Once i got the discharge angle of the tubing figured out, I used the included adapter to mate the provided hose to a PVC line that drains directly into my sump basin (requiring only a $2.17 investment from the local big-box hardware store). Done and done. The room feels better than it ever has. The humidity stays roughly between 48% - 53% on "auto." AND DID I MENTION HOW QUIET THIS THING IS? Nothing is as important as having the appliance WORK. But, now that I am confident that it works as advertised, I can appreciate how QUIETLY it does its job. The finished side of the basement is where laundry gets sorted and folded while music plays on the entertainment system. When my grandkids are over, this is the place where my grandson and I play video games (and talk a HEALTHY amount of trash over games of NCAA 25). The previous dehumidifier was disruptively loud. The AEOCKY is quieter with its compressor running than any of the fans from the previous models I had in this location, let alone their compressors. Color me impressed. Like, impressed enough to sit down and write this. I don't review a lot of items. And I KNOW that most people who take the time to review things had BAD experiences with their purchases. For me, this purchase experience has been so overwhelmingly positive that I felt the need to share. If you're on the fence about this model, don't be. It is a top performer. I have nothing bad to say about the GE or the Frigidaires that occupied my basement space before. But when my other GE kicks, I'm replacing it with another AEOCKY.

Great dehumidifier - you won't be sorry you purchased it.
I’m very impressed with this dehumidifier. I purchased it after a well-known name-brand unit I bought the year before died after only three months. This AEOCKY unit has been far more reliable so far and works extremely well. I bought the dehumidifier for my basement, particularly for the hot and humid summer months in New York and it runs quietly and efficiently and has no problem keeping humidity under control. I use the drain hose for continuous drainage, so the smaller water collection tank wasn’t an issue for me. However, it could be something to consider for anyone who isn’t able to connect the hose. Overall, this has been a great purchase and performs better than the more expensive brand I previously owned. I would definitely recommend it.

This one's a keeper.
I've had it a couple of days now. It seems to be doing a good job. But it's September and it's not as humid as it has been. The company is the best. They've extensively assured me how they stand behind their products. One thing I've found I really like about this dehumidifier is the water bucket. It seems to be more solid than others I've tried and the handle on it feels solid, not going to break under the weight of the water. The plastic doesn't feel as though it's going to crush or break. Im still trying to learn the panel, what to press, when and why and what I want the dehumidifier to do. It collects a lot of water and shuts off when full. Well, I trust it will shut off, I noticed the water line at top I guess just before it shut off and emptied the bucket. The FC lights up when the bucket is removed whether it's full or not. That's the reminder light to empty it. The wheels on the bottom are actually a smaller size than they should be and it doesn't roll on carpet that well. But it does roll. It is extremely quiet 🤫 hardly can hear it running. Even high fan is almost as quiet as the low. It seems fairly easy to run though I don't know a lot about running it yet. It doesn't seem to have a problem keeping the humidity at a certain number. The compressor shuts off when it reaches that number and only comes on again if the humidity changes. One of the main things I wanted to try this size is I wanted it to pull humidity from other rooms. Mainly my bedroom which is next to the living room. This one is doing that. That's what I wanted. It's running smoothly, quietly, pulling water out of the air, and using less energy because it's Energy Star. What more could you ask for? UPDATE! (November) I'm still am glad I decided to try this one. It's still going strong. It's a very good machine! Still quite. Emptying the bucket about every 12 hours. My home is about 1200 sq.ft. my whole house has healthy humidity. And I see right now there is a bigger sale on it.
