WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
DID I SAY WOW!!! This is the best tool upgrade I've ever done in 40 years!!! 10 STARS!!! This thing kills it. I have a the big Harbor Freight blast cabinet, the gun that came with it was garbage, I upgraded it to a better one I thougt but it was so slow at cleaning. THIS IS MY THIRD ONE AND IT FLAT OUT ROCKS. I blast with sand, regular kiddy sand from Home Depot, this works so good my compressor has a hard time keeping up, its a 60 gallon, 5 horse, 220 volts, 2 cylinder and I have a 1/2" tube for sand pickup and its always uncovered it has so much through put. So I need to get three bags because two isn't enough! Seriously this is like going from a toy to an adult tool!!! Something that works! Only thing I wish it has was a on/off trigger, but I can install a valve and live with it . WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS!!!

Puts out more media than the HF gun
HF blast cabinet. Modified to gravity feed. I was not getting enough performance from the gun that came with the cabinet and I wanted foot pedal control. After looking at all the reviews for other guns on Amazon They seemed to have either marginal performance or a high price. This one is inexpensive and had good reviews. I believe the 1/4" port foot pedals on Amazon do not flow enough air for blast media unless you are just etching glass. I built a foot pedal using a 3/8" ball valve. With this combination I can quickly remove rust, heavy scale, paint and even powder coat.

Must be modified to keep ceramic nozzle in place for excellent performance.
This blaster works excellent at first, then the ceramic nozzle creeps back and blocks the media path. I simply put a large area washer under the plastic nozzle part with a properly sized hole to hold the ceramic nozzle in place. (The mfgr just put teflon tape around ceramic nozzle to friction hold!) After simple mod it continues to work better than ever!

ALMOST GOOD
As many other people have stated these WILL NOT work at all right out of the box. You MUST install a washer directly behind the boron nozzle to prevent it from sucking backward and stopping all flow. Once you get that corrected it will work very good.

Worked better than expected
Upgraded my harbor freight blast cabinet with this gun and it’s a night and day difference

Works
Be sure you adjust the air nozzle in or out until you get good media flow.Works well. I hope it lasts and I can find nozzles for it.

Easy to mod
Good cheap gun. Recommend to drive a roll pin into the air jet to reduce the volume of air so compressor can keep up.

Do not buy the 6 mm tip, go with 8 mm or pass.
I purchased this gun because the 6 mm tip should be easier on my compressor, but I found that basic performance was not good. Upon investigation I found that the air inlet nozzle diameter was 4 mm, but many of the better performing guns have an outlet to inlet orifice diameter ratio of about 2, so the air nozzle should have been 3 mm to correspond to a 6 mm sand tip, not 4 mm. When I connected a vacuum gage, it only drew -7.5 inches of mercury, not terrible, but not great. So I filled in inlet nozzle with epoxy and drilled it out with a 1/8" drill bit (about 3 mm), and then the gun drew -14 inches of mercury vacuum and worked great. Thinking I simply received the wrong inlet nozzle in error, I contacted the seller. I was told they only have the 4 mm air inlet nozzle, and they do not offer a 3 mm. Conclusion: the gun offered with the 8 mm sand nozzle probably works great (I did not test it), but the 6 mm gun cannot handle all the air it receives at its inlet, so the gun's performance drops off dramatically. I would not advise buying it unless you you intend to modify it to improve performance.
