Happy to read about this problem of no truth and assertiveness..standards...and wants communicated.
I became a people pleasure perfectionist "nice guy." It's actually not healthy or true and causes passive aggressiveness and stuffing of feelings. This book helped me. Church guys..sensitive types.Parents that asked for good kids vs negotiating kids. Rich kids get support and get to fight...poor kids get punishment and get to be quiet or else. Learn to negotiate with parents.

Worthwhile
For a relatively short book, I found this to be a very worthwhile and insightful read. The topics and the activities within the books can reveal a lot about one's self, so be prepared to be honest with yourself, and if you're in a relationship, make sure you inform your partner you're reading the book.

Incredibly insightful
I was awestruck at how on-point Dr Glover’s breakdown of a “Nice Guy” related to me in my past relationships. It was incredible to read about my exact behaviors in certain situations. I’ll probably read parts, if not the whole book over again to solidify some of his lessons in. It was a quick, easy read with many revelations. I highly recommend for anyone who identifies as a Nice Guy.

Awesome Book, changed my life!
My book was pre-owned as I could see something sticky and other marks on it as well.
