So, loads of pillow protectors out there are made of loud, windpant-like material. These are not that and so are much softer, but the feel is very rough for the cotton material it is. They're fine.

This is a wonderful product and really waterproof! It will definitely protect my pillows from all the dust and mites getting into the pillow and hence reducing the need to wash the pillows - which is what I am super happy about! Very well-made protectors. Zippers are easy and smooth. For this quality and quantity, price seems fair. They wash well too. Very happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend this set.

So far the pillow protectors are holding up well. The material seems to be good quality and pretty thick. They were easy to put on. They washed up very well. Zippers also work well. So far I am happy with them.

Good at protection, though be warned that they trap air and will change how your pillow feels by quite a bit.

These pillow protectors come across as functional rather than luxurious, and they perform their function well. Out of the package, they seem a little noisy because of their waterproof backing, but once on the pillow, they did not bother us at all. Also out of the package, the fabric was matted at the folds, but it recovered completely after one washing. Quality is consistent across the four pillow protectors, and all zippers work smoothly. The pillow protectors are generously sized. We bought the standard size, and it was a comfortable fit over a feather-and-down pillow, even when puffed up. When you sleep on it, you naturally experience a thicker cover than just a pillow with a case, but it is not stiff or noisy.The terry cloth material is soft and also impressively stays cool, which I appreciate on summer nights. The way that I can tell it provides some barrier is that a puffed-up pillow does not deflate quite as quickly as it would without the case. It does appear to be waterproof as well, although dust protection is what I really want to use it for. Although the packaging says that it can be washed in hot water, the washing directions seem to prefer warm water. These seem to be a very good blend of comfort and utility.

I love these pillow protectors! They are nice and thick and are absorbent so it truly does protect the pillow underneath. It's a comfortable layer to add to any pillow!
