It was great to fix my old S10e for only 20 bucks. Nice that the kit had most of what I needed to complete the job. The most difficult part of the job was removing the old adhesive from the inside of the phone and the back cover. I ended up using automotive parts cleaner (brake clean) and a lot of alcohol to clean off the old glue. I also found a tweezers helpful in handling the tiny screws. Hopefully the battery will provide a long service life like the original battery that came in the phone.

The battery and kit was heaven sent. It was so easy removing my wife's cell phone cover and removing her old battery and inserting the new one. Saved a great deal of money and time it would of taken to add contacts etc.

Defective, never worked. I paid a tech to install but the battery was bad. He ordered me one he knew would be good. So I spent $20 on a bad battery, but it was MY bad, I didn't have it installed soon enough. My return window closed today! My tech said the battery's on amazon are sketchy. But he is getting me a guaranteed one.

I haven't installed this battery yet I will do another review when I do, I was please by how much the seller set me up with so much items for me to see the insulation threw. I can't thank this seller enough. Amazing for DIY repairs

Pretty nice kit. Comes with all the usual tools to pry the phone open. I did this previously so had a little experience. I use a heat gun to soften the glue on the back plate. Then working it back and forth with the suction cup will usually pull it loose. Then use the various prying tools to complete prying it up around the edges. No issues with the kit. The battery looks like the others hard to say on the longevity of it until it's in use longer.

This battery replacement kit saved me the problem of replacing the phone. I can keep my favorite smartphone ! The instructions are clear. One needs a magnifier to see the red squares around the screw and cable images, but it helped. Removing the battery itself was difficult because of the adhesive. The instructions could include placing the new one close to the edge where the cable is. If one does not get it positioned first, the cable does not reach. It was two mm off, and I had to reposition the battery.

This worked for my Note 20 5G. The snags I ran into were: 1. The back case adhesive seemed to be backward on its backing... The clear backing was supposed to come up first and then you could pull off the green backing with the tabs after you had placed it correctly on the phone. Unfortunately because it was reversed, I had to remove the backings in reverse order and it definitely didn't feel like it was meant to work that way. I got the backing stuck to my fingers a couple of times and ended up with a slightly less than perfect seal. Still, it did work. 2. The adhesive pad that goes under battery itself had cutouts to accommodate the cutouts which are in the phone. They did not line up. It's not just that they were backwards, as in the case of the other adhesive. The cutouts actually were different from the shapes on the phone. I was also able to work around this, just by tearing apart of the adhesive off. 3. This last point isn't a problem with this product - it's just a tip. When you remove the back of your phone, if the three camera lenses come loose you will need a bit of adhesive to re-fasten them in the appropriate spot. There is a bit of adhesive there to begin with... but it may not reseal. So definitely just pull a piece of the adhesive off of the corner of the under battery adhesive - if your kit is like mine you'll have to do this anyway, since the battery adhesive doesn't line up. If you don't secure the camera lenses you may turn out to have the same problem which I have -- the mid-focal length lens won't come into focus. I'm not positive it's caused by this looseness in the lenses but it seems pretty likely. I hope that review was helpful to you. I am happy that I bought this product and it did work to repair my phone. Due to the problem with my camera - which wasn't related to this product - I'll probably reopen the phone at some time in the future, but for now... it's good.

Great kit and instructions but I was dismayed to find that even once I replaced the battery that the phone says it is still weak as if it was an older or low amp battery that effectively didnt improve and may yet need to get another battery
