Perfect Controller for Stepmania!
I play the exceptionally difficult levels in stepmania (16-18 footers) and I need a controller that can handle serious punishment! I have used many controllers and keyboards to play the game and have built strong preferences for what works for me (currently using dualshock ps4, and now this!) A few notes of feedback from my experience: - Very plug and play! Just go to the website, plug in the device and store the settings in the memory. - RGB lighting setup. I'm always nitpicky when it comes to lighting, but this controller passes the test! onboard lighting gives full rainbow wave with a few surprise goody functions in there too! -Solid build quality! This little controller looks and feels great with high finish screws and rubber grips to help prevent sliding -Key Switch Quality. Key switch quality is above average, I have felt more premium switches, but these are super-fast and very reliable which is what I really need! I am certainly a corner-case power user for this product and can tell you it is a godsend for my purposes!

Great little keypad for Helldivers 2 Stratagems
Update: still love this little keypad. They actually release firmware updates via the web interface. I had a couple of small frustrations with the device (silly things like my lighting choice not functioning quite correctly, etc), which have been eliminated with these firmware updates Important note: for gaming, there was one adjustment I had to make in the web utility. Under the "Device Options" section, there is a setting called "Release Delay" which *should* be set to 1, unless you need the key to be held down for a short period after releasing the key. In my case, with Helldivers 2, having a setting higher than 1 is undesirable. I've attached a screenshot of the setting. Original review: Picked this up specifically for Helldivers 2. Out of the box, the device comes set up to function the same as your keyboard's up, down, left, and right keys. I use this thing to enter the Stratagem inputs, and it's worked fine for 3 or 4 dives so far. Also worth noting, this thing doesn't exactly have drivers that you install. Instead, you connect this device to your PC as you normally would, and then open a web browser (I use Chrome) and navigate to sayodevice dot com. The website will take a moment to initialize, but that's because it's actually detecting your device. Once the site loads, you can change each of the keys to be whatever you want them to be. You could make it W A S D or 1 2 3 4, you could even make it CTRL, Shift, Caps Lock, Tab, or L K Y V if you needed to for some reason. It actually shows you a standard full keyboard layout with a selection of "uncommon" keyboard keys listed below. You can also mess around with the illumination. I was rather surprised to find that the onboard lighting actually supports several different colors and lighting modes. It's a little tricky, I picked some lighting I liked but it seems to have wiped those settings when I disconnected the device from my PC (update: recent firmware updates have eliminated all of my lighting issues). The web driver thing also lets you update the onboard firmware, and change some settings I have no use for, such as identifying the device as a "joystick" or "absolute mouse" or "dial." Overall, for the price, I'm rather impressed. I've heard several people mention the drivers and the fact that they're in another language, but I've had no issue simply connecting the device and visiting sayodevice dot com. That's all you have to do. The website IS the driver. I didn't even have to mess with language settings on the site.

Solid product & works well. Horrible driver.
This device is not pre-programmed to function as arrow keys. Instead, you have to use their website which flashes the device with your desired configuration. This has the benefit of making the keypad customizable, but if "sayo device" ever goes out of business, it will render this a paperweight. The device also doesn't reliably save the flashed settings, so you may need to re-flash it after the device has lost power. Also, the USB-C port is fragile and not reinforced at all. For $16 this has a lot of features and is of reasonable quality (no switch wobble too!), but I really want an actual driver to prevent planned obsolescence.

Works Great on Mac
Plug and Play for MacOS — just X out of the ‘new keyboard setup’ when Mac detects it. I really like this, I’m a game developer so I’m constantly testing building and walking characters around and since I use a MacBook Pro, having nice big, chunky arrow keys is a lot more comfortable. I also use Parallels and run Windows side by side with MacOS, the arrows work seamlessly when switching between the two. These work and feel great, 10/10!

Solid Product, Works As Intended
I got this mainly for Helldivers 2; Overall solid product. The build is sturdy and compact, comes with extra blank keys, lights up, it works. They do have a website that allows you to reprogram the keys but I just need it for arrow functions and it does just that.

Item described as 4 button, but what arrived was just 2 buttons and it was broken. Useless product, don't waste your money

This is a game changer, I can have the Sayo Device situated anywhere on my desk for ease of access. Currently have I it next to my mouse so I don't have to reach over to my small keyboard when I need to input arrow directions. For gaming this can make all the difference. The Sayo website makes customizing the keyboard simple and easy to suit your style and needs with LED illumination and mapping of keys etc. Just remember to save your settings before closing the browser. Plus being a mechanical keyboard, means it's more durable and has good responsiveness and a great finger feel. it also came with 4 spare blank keys. It seems to be well made, strengthened with 4 screws on all corners and rubber feet for grip on the bottom so its doesn't slide when you don't want it to.
