Sadly the better half didn't read the reviews before purchasing and tried and double-tried using it to no avail. So I was asked to have a look. It had almost no smell (the better half has no sense of smell, so didn't notice) and what smell there was, was soapy. I can also confirm what others have reported, ie. that it sadly does not work. In fact- my nail-polish remover was more successful. Sadly it had to be returned as faulty/not fit for the purpose.

Used this to remove the glue residue from a painted concrete floor, after removing a carpet in my office that had been down for 16 years. I had originally started using a heat gun but this took ages. I then bought this stuff and went by the instructions spraying it onto the floor and leaving for 2-3 mins, before attacking it with a scraper. It worked but I did have to go over it again on sections that had thicker glue. I then used plan B... this was pouring it onto the surface and using a pain brush to spread it, but was more generous with the amount of liquid i used This was by far a better method, but if the floor is slightly pitted or not perfectly flat some residue will be hard to removes. I used paper towel rolls to to wipe the surface to remove any excess glue, and then used a floor scrubber(borrowed from a customer..thank you) to give it a final clean. It did take a while, as i had around 18sqm to do, but looked good and was okay to paint on as I needed the floor back to the original condition for the landlord.

Previous owners have put then adhesive laminate on top of tiles, used this to remove the adhesive, worked like a charm, sprayed on, left for 10 mins and went to work with a scouring pad, worked brilliantly

Used this many times to remove the adhesive glue used to stick down vinyl. First I use a heat gun to lift up the tiles, then I spray this over and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then with a scraper, it comes off. Sometimes needs a second application but have removed a whole kitchen floor covered in dark, orange adhesive glue. This is not a magic thing you leave and then wipe away with a cloth. You do need to use tools, but one swipe with a paint scraper and its so satisfying as you just slide across mountains of now soft adhesive.

This product goes down in history as the most useless product I have ever bought. Didn't touch the glue, hot soapy water was more effective. Don't waste your money

Unfortunately, the reviews don't add up for this product. It did not remove the adhesive tape residue as I had hoped. I used generous amounts too; I had to revert to white spirit. It's a shame as I had high hopes for this one. It did remove the white spirit smears.
